Perfect Beach Cottage
Location was super! Property was well maintained and owners very hospitable and easy to work with. Just hope we can get it again next year!
Excellent comfortable cozy
Plenty of room for the whole family
Step out back and you are on the beach
Great Family Vacation
Perfect location on the beach and within walking distance of the boardwalk and fun restaurants. Rustic and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen. Enjoyed the covered porch and upstairs deck at night time. We would love to return.
Great place for the family ,very clouse to beach
Well-stocked kitchen at fabulous location
You cannot really beat this location. You’re right on the beach, really close to the boardwalk, and more. The kitchen is very well-stocked, and the accommodations are comfortable. I will say that the cleaning regimen is very intense Upon departure, so if you’re not up for that and not enjoying the lower cost as a result of the cleaning requirements, this place is probably not going to be top of your list. However, it was perfect for us.
A great stay in the Mary Cottage
We found this ocean front cottage to be as described, clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a great location. You are in walking distance of the Boardwalk and many shops and restaurants and have your private walkway to the beach. With the sun porch and “sitting area” on the lower level in addition to the living room, a family has plenty of “spread out” room.
Bikes, motor bikes and pedal cars for rent, fishing on charter boats and large 'head' boats at Carolina Beach Marina, visit variety of restaurants, and activities on the Boardwalk (all within a short walking distance), fishing piers, Carolina Beach State Park with trails for viewing Venous Fly Traps and other coastal area wildlife; on the isouth end of the island, visit the North Carolina Aquarium, Fort Fisher Civil War Fort, or take a 30 minute ferry ride down the Cape Fear River to quaint historic South Port with shops and restaurants, or in nearby Wilmington, visit the historic waterfront area on the Cape Fear River or the battleship USS North Carolina.
