Why Vivi and Andreas chose Thera
This property was passed down through three generations and was fully renovated, but keeping faith with the essential elements of the original structure.
What makes this House unique
Aegean's blue and white colors, are being reflected on our island's sunlight, which calms both the mind and the soul. This is what you are going to experience when you come and stay at our traditional houses, which were renovated with extra care, as we didn't want it to loose it's traditional elements. Also you have the chance to sit in it's sunny yard and enjoy your coffee, your wine or your ouzo, which we will offer to you, in order to make you feel welcome!

Lovely place to stay
Vivi was really helpful and friendly. It's a great location - just five minutes from the bus station and all the shops and restaurants. But you are away from all the noise and have a garden to sit in. The home has all the facilities you need.
Wonderful apartment to explore Santorini
We (couple) booked the studio for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Vivi is a warm and generous host and the studio (one large bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom) is very comfortable and spacious for a week long stay. It is centrally located near the caldera for the well known and stunning views and bars / eateries. It is also close to the bus station, local bakery and grocery shops. Despite it's central location it is in a quiet area of Thira. Transfer from the airport was easy too. We highly recommend this property. Thank you again Vivi.
Convenient location with a stellar host.
Vivi was a wonderful host, going above and beyond to facilitate our first visit to Santorini. The AC kept the interior nice and cool, and the bathroom is wonderfully authentic. Be aware the listing is showing two different units — be sure you know which one you are booking! Also, note the only chairs are outside or at the kitchen table. There is no sofa or lounge chairs for relaxing, and it gets quite hot in the front patio without shade; however there is a patio umbrella shared with the other unit that helped a lot. For a stay in Fira, this is ideally located.
Calderimi house, Fira, property 3507819
A very well presented, comfortable and welcoming property in an ideal location for shopping and buses, but also far enough away from the two main roads so there was no traffic noise. Very welcoming owners. Useful literature available for sights to see and places to go.
Great house in a central location
I booked the calderimi house for myself and a friend (who ended up having to cancel at the last minute due to work). It is centrally located 2 quick blocks from the bus station and from the center of town. For being so close to all the action, the house is quiet and very spacious. I chose the house for its central location and being so close to the bus station was ideal. I was able to take the bus to Oia, Firastefani, Monolithos beach, and Red beach within 15-30 minutes. Great place to stay for 2-3 people and would come back.
From the minute we had our reservation, Vivi was a wonderful host. Informative and gracious, she left us baked goods and arranged for our transport to and from the airport. The apartment is well located: quiet street but just a few blocks from the main roads so you get the best of both. My husband and I were traveling with our daughter: two bedrooms that were perfect with the charm you would expect from Santorini. Would recommend and definitely stay there again.
You were also wonderful as guests! I hope to see you again.
Fira is a town built around the island's famous caldera, 200m. above the sea, which offers a panoramic view of the whole island, the volcano and the surrounding islands.
Fira is situated in the center of the island, from where you easily have access to all the other villages.
Here, you'll find all local facilities:
Central bus station and taxi station 200m. from Calderimi.
The cable car, which leads to the old port and from there you can access the volcano, by ferries.
Restaurants, cafes and nightclubs. Museums, banks, pharmacies.
A lot of shops.
For people who like hiking, from Fira there is a narrow path which goes to Ia (Oia), through the villages of Firostefani and Imerovigli (9km.).

In late August, a reenactment of the volcanic eruption is organized with fireworks, followed by traditional dancing performances and music.
