Also located in Broad Ripple is the famous Monon Trail, where you can conveniently walk, jog, bike or roller blade through miles of scenic, paved trail that was once accessed only by train.

Just a quick note to thank you for letting us enjoy your home in Indy again this year. It is a really special week for us and our entire extended family appreciates all the effort it must take to maintain such a nice and well managed place. We all had a wonderful time!
We had an excellent stay at this property! The house was clean and everything that we needed was there for us. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, yet we were close to the highway and food all around. We were able to maneuver with no problems. My wife was able to relax with the amenities of home, while our three children had fun with the experience of a "get-away". We will definitely go back.
This was our second stay in the house and I loved it even more this visit. It just happens to be close to local family but it's also close to lots of great Indianapolis restaurants (we ate at Mama Corolla's) and close to the main freeways if you want to go into downtown. The house itself is large and comfortable for our family of 3 generations that stayed there. Plenty of room to play board games or just sit by the fire.
great NE location; house is dated and not all things in working condition; toilet problem corrected by handyman; he was not authorized to fix the non working shower in the tub/shower combo; dangerous, uneven front sidewalk; un-mentioned sunken living room a fall hazard; questionable task of turning up hot water heater upon arrival and then required to turn it down before leaving, while dishwasher and clothes washer are in use; K-cup coffee machine a plus; amount of paper products a minus; would not reccommend
Very nice house. Lots of little amenities like k-cups, shampoo, toothpaste to make things easy for the traveler. The house was comfortable and clean. Communications with the owner were timely and clear. Definitely a great experience.
My Dad and 4 siblings stayed to have a weekend together before my dad's surgery to remove a tumor at IUPUI. It was quiet and relaxing. There is a state park close by that we were able to take advantage of. It was a special weekend full of games and great food, and a wonderful place to come back to after a LONG day at the hospital. So grateful that this place was available and able to accommodate our large family.
The house was quiet, clean, and everything as advertised. Janeece was great to work with. She is a terrific communicator and
we had all the information we needed to hit the ground running. We needed to add a night because of an unexpected family emergency.
Fortunately the property was available and Janeece worked with us promptly to make it happen.
All the appliances were great. We ate breakfast and lunch at the house. We had dinners out with family. We then came "home"
Thank you Janeece. If we need a place in Indy again, you are definitely first on our list!
The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra has its home in the Hilbert Circle Theater, a vintage 1916 film palace on Monument Circle. Clowes Memorial Hall, a performing arts center on the campus of Butler University, is home to the Indianapolis Opera, Butler Ballet, and Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra. The professional Indiana Repertory Theatre, offers a September-to-May season, including classics such as A Christmas Carol. We have been to some great concerts at the Murat Shrine.
For live jazz every night except Sunday, head to the cozy Chatterbox Tavern, where big-name acts playing in town sometimes stop by. (Mick Jagger once dropped in after a Stones concert.) Another downtown top spot for live music is the Slippery Noodle Inn, Indiana's oldest standing bar (established 1850; rumor has it that Hoosier hoodlum John Dillinger used the club's back wall for target practice) and the place in the city for blues.
