House, 5 Bedrooms, 4 Baths, (Sleeps 10)
Our family has been summering in Blue Hill for over 25 years. When this house, across the street from our family's summer home became available...we jumped. Our children have spent every summer in Blue Hill, teaching sailing at the local yacht club, hiking in Acadia, gathering mussels and even getting married here. It is our special place and hope you will love as we do.

What makes this House unique
Nothing is better than rocking on the porch when the sun begins to fade. On cool nights we gather in front of the fire with board games. Take an early morning walk on the quarry road with magnificant views of Mount Desert and Blue Hill Bay. Sit on the kitchen porch sipping coffee while the bees and hummingbirds visit the cottage garden. Cook your own lobster and enjoy them with the warm butter , fresh local bread and produce.

Our family enjoyed our stay here very much. The property is very comfortable and we all adjusted to limited wifi and t.v. quickly, more time spent together actually enjoying each others company!
Blue Hill is a great family spot...we all struggle with the slower internet service in the area. ( It is sometimes frustrating when I am running my business from there, but it does work out in the end. ) So happy you enjoyed your time together and the house was comfortable for your group. Thank you and come back one day. So much to see.
Ideal Family Vacation Home
We needed a place for 7 adults and 2 children as a home base to explore Bay Hill / Bar Harbor / Acadia. This place was perfect for our needs. An older home but clean and comfortable.
Exploring Blue Hill
This was our first trip to the Blue Hill/Bar Harbor area and it was Perfect!! The house was the best equipped home for entertaining family and friends. Freddie had great suggestions for hiking, boat trips and dining as well as responding quickly to any questions I had.
Thanks Freddie for sharing your wonderful home👍👍😊
Thank you Mona , I am so glad you experienced the beautiful area and enjoyed our home. Blue Hill and Acadia are special to my family also. Best Freddie
A Summer Week in Blue Hill Maine
We were very happy with this large charming home. The open floor plan of the living room and dining room worked nicely with our group of 8 adults. The large dining room table accommodated all of us for wonderful family dinners together. The star gazing from the side yard was incredible. It was a lovely private location. Freddie shared some great recommendations for shopping and eating.
Thank you Debbie..the night sky is amazing. I am glad the house worked well for you, it loves a family.
Lovely coastal woods property on Blue Hill Peninsula
Our family really enjoyed staying at the house. Lots of room, and the kids can run and play outside. Kitchen is fully stocked. We even used the lobster pot for a lobster boil. House is very convenient to Blue Hill environs, and it's an easy 30-40 minute drive to get to Bar Harbor and Mt. Desert Island. Great base camp for exploring Acadia. Freddie was very helpful and is nearby if you have any questions; she was also had great recommendations for our first Maine vacation. Thanks for a great time!
The property is terrific and we had the most wonderful time! There was much more space than I anticipated - which was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 4 rambunctious children. The kitchen was well-supplied, everything was neat and clean at our arrival, Freddie was always available for our questions, the near-by lobster at Fishnet was delicious, and the games provided were well-used! I loved getting up early and enjoying the peace and quiet of breakfast on the front porch. Thank you , Freddie, for sharing your lovely home!
Thank you for taking the time to write. I am so happy you enjoyed our home as much as we have over the years.
