About The Owner

We like taking shore boats out through the harbor at night and people watching on front street. We like to hike and run by the ocean and rent boats or fish off the pier. With four kids there was always something to do. And oh yes ... the junk food!

The Owner purchased this apartment in 1989

Why The Owner chose Los Angeles area

The charm and beauty of Catalina coupled with a one hour boat ride that makes it such an adventure. Food, activities, strolls and a place where our children could be so independent compared to the 'mainland'

What makes this apartment unique

Proximity to everything. Easy stroll out in the evening and base for activities during the day. Easy walk to beach with beach equipment, and to bring back the groceries (or all the fish we caught)

Fantastic stay!

Spent four days and three nights, had an amazing time! Within five minutes of entering the apartment Clarence called us to make sure everything was OK, which we appreciated. The apartment was much bigger than the pictures suggest, with plenty of room for everyone to hang out and relax after a day at the beach. On premise washer and dryer was great, just feed them a few quarters and you are good. Well stocked kitchen with everyting you would need. Even though it's located a two minute walk from the main downtown, it was very quiet during our stay, everyone slept great. My family has stayed at 10+ places in Catalina over the past twenty years, and we think that this place was a great value for the space and amount of people who could comfortably stay. I highly recommend it, my group enjoyed miniature golf, jet sking, ziplining, and parasailing. Also check out the pet cemetary five minutes away, it is quaint and really neat.

Nice Clean Rental

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this rental and truly love it. It has a perfect living room with plenty area to visit. It is close to the beach and ready for a good time.

A fun and romantic Califonia Island getaway only 26 miles across the sea!

We loved it!

A great find, super close to beach! Apt. was clean, quiet and comfortable.

The listing is very accurate. Loved Avalon Grille and Armstrong’s Seafood Restaurant.

The fishing and renting a golf-cart is really fun. Bring your camera the Island is BEAUTIFUL!

I highly recommend this rental.
