Towerhouse - A modern cabin with views of Park City

People4
Bedrooms 1
Bathrooms2
Space 1,200 sq. ft.
Property type house
Minimum Stay 2 - 4 nights

Overview

About the property

Towerhouse is located up a semi-improved road off of I80. In the Winter months you must have an all-wheel drive or 4x4 vehicle with snow tires. The roads are plowed, but snow-packed in the Winter and there are 'steep' grades. This is mountain living at it's best, there are lots of log cabins in this friendly community called Pine Meadows Ranch.

The master bedroom is on the top floor of Towrehouse with an open vaulted view of the pyramid ceiling. Exposed wooden beams highlight this 400 sq ft floor. The house if perfect for a couple. If you have 1-2 extra guests there is an inflatable queen mattress that can be placed in the living room.

The views are spectacular and the wildlife is plentiful. On a daily basis we will see Deer, Elk, Moose, Hawks etc. We look across the valley to the 3 Park City area ski resorts; Deer Valley, Park City and Canyons. At night we can see the lights of the Heber Valley.

Towerhouse was fetured in the magazine Utah Syle and design when it was built in 1996. At the time it was cutting edge with it's use of green materials, radiant heat and unique architecture. The house is 4-stories with 200sq feet on each floor. There are some interesting features that will catch the eye of any artist or designer.

Marty's concept and drawings became a reality with Gigaplex's Hank Louis as the architect.

Note: Snowstorms - The property manager shovels the stairs before your arrival, but not during your stay. (a shovel will be at the front door) If it snows during your stay, a plow and or blower/tractor may show up to clear the driveway. (you may need to move your vehicle during this process).

Our stay at the Towerhouse

  • 5 of 5

The first thing we have to say is that the view is outstanding. We enjoyed our stay at this unique home. It had everything we needed and once again fantastic views. It is perfect for someone looking for something different in a place to stay.

Great stay!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed the quiet and the beautiful vistas. The Towerhouse is very comfortable and is a unique and interesting cabin. The kitchen is well supplied (except for lids for the cookware!) and we were able to sleep 4 comfortably with the futon mattress for our 2 girls. We were able to really relax but also have some good adventures hiking and exploring the area. Park City is a quick drive. I would highly recommend staying at the Towerhouse!

Very recharging experience

  • 5 of 5

The views are amazing. The house is so comfortable and cozy. If you want to cook like I did, bring a thermometer because the oven dial is unreadable so you have to guess at the temperature. Wonderful experience!

A pleasant place to relax and enjoy the panoramic views

  • 5 of 5

The Towerhouse met all our expectations, and more. We followed Marty's instructions to locate the property on Google Earth Maps, and had no trouble driving right to the location. It was clean, and we found all supplies and appliances that we needed were provided. The neighborhood is very quiet at night.

We experienced exceptional weather, and were able to enjoy mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying the views of the mountains and Park City.
