The Two-Bedroom Balcony Apartment is located just around the corner from the subway station, which is only a 1 minute walk away. From there, it takes only 10 minutes to reach Manhattan by subway.

The apartment is large in size, as it is about 850 square feet. There are modern furniture and fixtures throughout. There is also a private balcony. The apartment also comes with free wifi.

The spacious living room has a modern sectional sofa (not pictured, as we recently added the sectional -- new photos to come). There is also a smaller sofa (pictured) which turns into a daybed for one. There is also a classic Pierre Paulin lounge chair, modern walnut coffee table, and a set of ottomans. The large flat-screen television with satellite tv sits on a beautiful solid walnut media cabinet. There is also a George Nelson wall lamp and modern floor lamp in the living room.

The kitchen is equipped with all pots, pans, and utensils needed to cook a meal. The kitchen opens up to a dining room, which has a modern solid walnut dining table and chairs.

There is a full mid-century modern NYC style bathroom in this apartment.

The main bedroom is located at the rear of the townhouse, where the garden is located, ensuring a peaceful night. This bedroom has a queen size Tempur-Pedic bed, which sits atop a modern solid walnut Japanese style bed. There are also walnut side tables and two modern lamps.

The second bedroom is also located at the rear of the townhouse and has a queen Tempur-Pedic bed, which sits on a modern solid walnut bed and is accompanied by walnut side tables and modern lamps. There is a door in this bedroom that opens up to the private balcony, which is wonderful for catching sun and fresh air. It overlooks the garden. There are two chairs and a table on the balcony.

For the fifth and sixth guests, the sectional sofa converts into a queen size bed -- it splits into two pieces, and when facing the two pieces towards each other, they form a queen size bed. Alternatively, there is a queen size air mattress with memory foam top.

We have a pack 'n play (playard) for baby, available upon request.

Nice open space Old appliancesnot happy with Tenants in the building

Tenants in the building were Complaining about loud music which we had a laptop and was not loud the floors are wood and it’s an old building you can here everything host was very nice people in the building were mad because we ordered food and said we were loud not true. Space nice and big clean sheets big bedrooms bathroom very old shower was good. We had cable and WiFi but tv controller did not work. Very sensitive floors and walls must have tv down

Nice apartment, good location

We never met Jessica, but she responded quickly to our emails and messages. Check in went smoothly. and she brought us a second set of keys later. The location is great, close to two train stations, a quick ride to Manhattan. Many restaurants and grocery stores in the area. A lot of natural light and windows that open. You can hear the upstairs neighbors during the day and evening, but at night it was quiet and peaceful. The only thing no so great are the bathroom and kitchen that need an update, there are really old and stained. The kitchen needs a good cleaning inside the drawers and cupboards. But all in all, it was a good stay. Thanks Jessica.

Great Nights Sleep

This was our first visit to NYC and my husband and I were adventurous. We decided to rent a vacation home to save on lodging. Jessica's apartment turned out to be a great choice. Though we only used the apartment to sleep at, because during the day we were out touring the city, and always ate out, once we arrived at the property we wanted to just rest, fortunately we were always able to get a good night's sleep in a wonderful bed!

We loved the neighborhood! It was always quiet, we had easy access to the subway, there was a great fruit cart around the corner, there were great restaurants near by, there was also a laundromat near by as well and many different stores (all walking distance).

Most of the time we returned late in the evening when it was dark, but the apartment was always well lit. We NEVER felt unsafe which we loved about the neighborhood.

We fell in love with the city we will surly return in the near future, and we will certainly look up Jessica again.

Clean, stylin' place close to subway and lots of restaurants

Clean. Owner was very responsive to a needed repair that we caused and did not charge us for the re.

Astoria is located in the New York City borough of Queens, just over the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge, also known as the 59th Street Bridge, which stretches over the East River from East Midtown Manhattan. This special neighborhood has a wonderful history, which includes being the location where Steinway & Sons, the finest piano company in the world, chose to build shop in 1853. The closest train station, named Steinway Street, where the M and R lines stop, is just a one minute walk from the apartment and will get you to East Midtown Manhattan in only 10 minutes. Astoria is a very lively area, which is heavily populated with restaurants, cafes, pastry shops, and has a vibrant nightlife. The Museum of Moving Image and Kaufman Studios is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Also nearby are the Noguchi Museum, Socrates Sculpture Park, and the MoMA affiliated PS1 Museum.
