About Karen Pritchard
Originally from England, worked on Holland America Line Cruises as British Ballroom Dance Champion before landing in Florida. Visiting friends in Boothbay Harbor, I fell in love with the area, it's heritage, the people and of coarse the charm and beauty of the town. Each year we stay longer from May-Oct to enjoy each season as one becomes more beautiful than the one before. Boothbay Harbor......It truly is a slice of heaven.
Karen Pritchard purchased this Condo in 2011
Why Karen Pritchard chose West Boothbay Harbor
Purchased this property because it reminded me of my youth in England. Visiting my Grandmother who had a house similar in age, 1890's. It's bright and full of sunshine and we love to open all the windows and enjoy the fresh air that Maine offers. It has a lot of the original charm, but has modern touches for the enjoyment of your vacation.

We had a wonderful week in Boothbay Harbor and this unit was a short walk to everything but in a quiet neighborhood right on the cove. Karen was a wonderful host and helpful with suggestions for things to do. Would definitely recommend this rental!
Cozy, clean, comfortable!
Excellent accommodations. Great location close to town. Nicely decorated. Great view. Helpful, pleasant owner. Wonderful place to stay!
immaculate and convenient
House was all that was promised and more. Very clean. Enjoyed the welcome basket complete with homemade blueberry muffins. Owners friendly and lived on site on first floor and made sure we were happy and had no concerns. Walking distance to restaurants. Would recommend.
Thank you for your lovely review, hope you come back to Boothbay Harbor again soon. Enjoy the rest of the summer. Karen
We stayed in the two bedroom for a week in September. The apartment is beautifully maintained, comfortable, and in a perfect location. You can walk to shopping and restaurants. Karen was so helpful and was a wonderful hostess. One night, we mentioned being warm and she brought us a box fan, along with delivering a new corkscrew for our bottle of wine! There is a lot to do in the area and many places to explore. The botanical gardens should not be missed. You cannot go wrong with renting this perfect spot.
My husband and I stayed in the 2 bedroom for a week. Loved the colors used !
Best of all was the porch - great views - tide in and tide out!
There was a huge family gathering in the large home next door. Was wonderful
to see so many generations having a wonderful time together. They had fireworks
over the water - fabulous !
Would only recommend that 1 couple stay here as there is no closet or place to put your clothes, etc. in
the queen room. we used the double as our closet. worked out great!
Would highly recommend this property to anyone. We just loved the place.
Thank you for our wonderful stay.

Wonderful Condo in Boothbay Harbor
My husband and I spent a week in the 2 bed condo and it was wonderful. Karen is the perfect hostess and had a welcome basket on the table for us when we arrived. Although there were only 2 of us, we wanted the 2 bed condo for the deck view of the bay and it was an excellent decision. We spent a lot of time out there to enjoy both the view and the wonderful cool breeze. The walk to town was quick and easy. The condo had everything we needed for the meals when we ate in. The condo is nicely furnished and decorated, and had so many thoughtful extras - lots of tourist information, blankets in the living room, heated towel rack, DVDs, 2 coffee machines, and a laundry room available in the basement. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others!!!!!!

Things to Do and See in and Around Boothbay Harbor:-
If you’re looking for the authentic mid-coast Maine experience, this is it. Perhaps the most scenic body of ocean water on the eastern seaboard, mid-coast Maine features scores of islands, historic lighthouses, quiet little protected harbors and towns offering clothing and craft shops, art galleries and restaurants. A wild life paradise; ospreys and bald eagles nest high in the spruces along the rugged shores, harbor seals complete their annual pilgrimage to quiet coves and dolphins and whales loll about in the waves.
Outings: Take a day and visit Arcadia National Park, or one of the many lighthouses on the coast. Go to the outlet Mall in Freeport or visit the Ironworks at Bath for a great historical look into the making of the great steamships of a bygone era. Wiscasset is filled with museums from the old sea captains to the incredible music box museum.
