Bedrooms 2, Bathrooms 1, Sleeps 6

In the desirable Upper Canyon area of Ruidoso, New Mexico sits a charming little log cabin. This cabin is secluded, quiet, close to the river, and has frequent visits from the local elk, deer, and wild turkeys. It’s practically right out of a storybook!

Here’s your chance to stay in this delightful cabin! With 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, there’s room for 6 guests to sleep here – It’s the perfect size for a memorable family vacation, romantic getaway, or adventure with friends. You’ll fall in love with the knotty pine walls and ceiling and truly feel like you’re living in some sort of fairy tale. Relax out on the screened in porch and enjoy the scenery – Let the abundant nature please all of your senses, with its slightly pines, the sound of the river rolling through the canyon and the smell of the fresh breeze. It’s absolutely gorgeous throughout all four seasons! Just because you’re surrounded by all this surreal nature does not mean that you have to sacrifice your standard of living! This cabin comes equipped with everything you could possibly need in your home away from home, including hard-wired internet access, a 37” flat screen TV, wood burning fireplace, and a full kitchen with plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, and appliances.

We paid for everything that was provided and we expected accommodations to be adequate for the price we paid.

Weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

Had a great time at the cabin. Beautiful setting, close to town, very clean and well stocked. Maggie was our contact and she was amazing to deal with and very helpful. The deer were plentiful, can't wait to come back.

Wonderful Ruidoso Cabin Rental

  • 4 of 5

The cabin is cozy and the location beautiful. However, the owner is very hard to get in touch with if there is a problem. Unfortunately, the kitchen water stopped working and we couldn't get in touch with the owner to get the problem resolved even though voicemail was left for him.

Great Cabin

  • 5 of 5

Great cabin! End of the road with space to roam and play. Traveled with a 4 and 6 year old and they had a blast. Could use a few updates on towels and shower curtain but everything was clean and tidy.

Beautiful surroundings

  • 5 of 5

This cabin has everything you need. Well equipped with personal items such as game boards and books. The kitchen has all the features and the bathroom has everything. On the down side I would say that the mattresses need renovation, they are NOT comfortable, and the bedrooms are cold, even when the rest of the cabin is nicely warm. I strongly recommend to carry tire chains if you're going on winter, because we had to buy them in Ruidoso and they're expensive. Deers visit the cabins everyday. SoOverall beautiful and cozy. Love it!!

Cabin in mountain

  • 3 of 5

The cabin was rustic, as described. The only issue we had was the air quality in the cabin was not good. We are not smokers and the linger of previous smokers made it hard for us to breath. Unfortunately, we could only stay 2 nights.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review! We apologize for the smoky smell/air you experienced during your stay. It is common for the fireplace to give off this smoky smell. The homeowners will follow up with the cleaners to ensure the cabin does not let this smell linger in the cabin! Thank you again for your feedback and we hope to assist you again with booking a vacation rental that will exceed your expectations! Cheers, Evolve Team
