Apartment, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-6)
We live nearby and frequently complain to each other that there are so many things to do that it is hard to choose! We hope that you will have the same problem and would love to help you customize your visit to take advantage of all the opportunities this region can offer: history, art, nature, culture and theater; entertainment venues and outdoor activities of all sorts. Or if you are a lighthouse lover, there are more than half a dozen lighthouses to be sighted off the shores of southeastern Connecticut as well as several places on shore in Stonington, Mystic, Groton and New London to go to learn about them up close and personal. We love to travel and experience things as a native and want to offer that opportunity to our guests as well.

Great location and dog friendly
This property is a great location. It is dog friendly and was the reason we selected it. It isn’t the most updated or clean place, but was balanced based on walking distance to everything, dog friendly, and price.
Easy location but better for those wanting late nights
This is a typical summer cottage. A little worn but great location and very nice owner. Perfect for 2 or 3 at most. Convenient parking and easy to walk to great shopping and dining. Very noisy late at night on weekends due to bar next door and karaoke type singing.
Clean, charming, had some issues with the ac in the bedroom but other than that nice place to stay
Sorry to hear there was a problem with the bedroom A/C. Wish you had called me so we could have attempted to fix it right away!
Convenient location to downtown and attractions
The apartment was clean and very well accommodated. The historical features were charming. However, there were many not so pleasant features. The parking was not great. If you have a large vehicle or are not good at fitting into very tight spaces that require a lot of maneuvering then I suggest you find somewhere else to park. It would help if about 10 feet were taken off the fence. There really is no air conditioning and we were very warm even the though it was only in mid 70’soutside. Ther is a unit in the living room that helps minimally but the bedroom only has a box fan that doesn’t help much. You can’t open the window in the bedroom as there is no screen and you wouldn’t want to as you are on the first floor and there is a lot of foot traffic that walks right by. The upstairs neighbor is very very noisy especially around 6 am. It actually seems like it’s on purpose.so don’t plan on sleeping in. The upkeep of the apartment is very poor. It could use an entire paint job.
I hate having to write this review as I don’t like to be negative but I think it’s important for possible future renters to know what they are paying for.
I am sorry you didn't notice the air conditioner in the bedroom window or didn't call or text me that it was a bit warm.
And I apologize that the parking was a bit tighter than usual as we are having the house prepped and painted. It was supposed to have been finished by now but the contractor hurt his back so the work has been delayed.
And it's good to know that the upstairs neighbor was a bit heavy footed. He does have an early job but we will certainly remind him to be a bit more considerate!
Location convenient but- nightmare parking. No hot water on first morning bc owner had breaker for water heater off.
NOISE from upstairs tenant - coughing, spitting, bathroom noises at 5 am.
NOISE from bar up street until 2-3 am, I guess residents on this street don’t bother their town council.
Shabby old furniture, sagging floors.
Not the best VRBO I’ve had.
Awesome place so much to do not enough time!!!
We where so happy to have had the privilege to stay in such a great fun place.will definitely stay again!!!
A short one block walk to the shops, restaurants and attractions of historic Mystic, including Mystic Seaport and access to the Mystic River for kayaking and canoeing, 5 minute drive to Mystic Aquarium, Olde Mistick Village and Mystic Factory Stores. 15 minute drive to beaches, museums, lighthouses, casinos, hiking and biking trails. So much to see and do, never enough time!
