Our favorite place to stay in Paris.
The apatment is exactly as described. Jessica was helpful and friendly. She made the check in very easy
The apratment is in the heart of great shopping and eating.
We have already recommended it to several of our friends.
Thank you for making it a very wonderful and special Christmas!
This is the 5th or 6th time we have stayed here and always love it . Whenever we leave Le Marais we want to rush back to it ! Jessica the owner is akways quick to respond to any queries n us v helpful n friendly . We now come here twice a year . The washing machine was broken so Jessica became our laundry woman ! Thank u Jessica . As u know we will b back .
Gorgeous inside and breathtaking window and skylights. Highly private feel. Truly a special and stunningly beautiful place. Its aesthetic is not particularly Parisian and its privacy makes you feel "away from it all," not in the middle of Paris (even though you are) which may make it more desirable for some visitors and less for others. We were ready for this and loved it. Neighborhood is vibrant, beautiful, central, and very walkable.
Bathroom is small by US standards as has been said, especially the sink. However kitchen sink is right nearby and plenty large. Bed was very comfortable and had a skylight directly above. There was a shade but we loved it with the shade open. Stairs take a moment to get used to but are no problem for anyone of average mobility.
The place is perfect for one or two. There is a sofabed which allows for two more so it could work very well for a tight-knit family or very close friends as well. Jessica provided a wonderful personal, detailed list of favorite restaurants and things to do.
There is some construction noise though not super loud from the building next door during the day. Luckily when we were there sunrise was around 8 am so it was never a major problem for us.
We would definitely stay here again.
Terrific neighborhood and location in a secure building. Very comfortable apartment for 2 people. The space has wonderful light and is modern in decor and feel. We had prompt responses from the owner with regard to renting and no issues during our stay. There is construction finishing up on a neighboring building (this seems to be occurring city wide), otherwise it was exactly the quiet get-away in a bustling city we had in mind. We loved the cozy, curtained sleeping nook! There was easy to find nearby dining, boutique shopping, bottle shops and groceries as well as quick access to the metro and bus lines. The main common areas were undergoing updates while we were there as well and starting to look nice by the time our stay ended. We would love to return - we would recommend this apartment.
The apartment is quite unique and in a great neighborhood, very cool entrance and tucked away through two courtyards. We greatly enjoyed our stay.
This apartment is gorgeous! My boyfriend and I stayed here for four days and we loved it. We thought the glass roof and the lighting in the apartment made it very unique. It was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed during our stay in Paris. It was amazing to come back to this apartment and enjoy wine on our own private patio.
La Marais is a very beautiful neighborhood with plenty of coffee spots, restaurants, and shops all within a 5 minute walk to the apartment. We found all the tourist attractions we wanted to get to were also a very close walking distance.
Jessica was a great host! She is very quick to respond to all communications and even let us drop our bags off super early in the morning since we arrived on a 6:30am flight.
I highly recommend this place for your next trip to Paris.
Our incredibly charming duplex loft is ideally located in the best part of the trendy Marais district in Paris, just steps away from the Marché des Enfants Rouges, the Centre Pompidou, the Picasso Museum (reopening Summer 2013), galleries, restaurants and shops. You can walk to the river Seine and the Place des Vosges. We're also in the heart of the Paris fashion week area where several times a year the art galleries are transformed into fashion showrooms. The nearest metro stations at about equal distance are St Sébastien Froissart (line 8) and Rambuteau (line 11). It's a 10 minute walk to République (lines 3, 5, 8, 9 and 11) and to Hôtel de Ville (lines 1 and 11).
