We have been to St. Thomas many times. This was an outstanding trip. The unit and the resort were exactly as advertised. They have been completely renovated since the storms. The entire staff was outstanding. We will plan to return. Deb is an outstanding and responsive owner. Everything was exactly as promised.
Very nice well kept room and property. I highly recommend this resort.
Outstanding property; rooms were top quality. Would absolutely stay there again.
Best Villa on St John
Perfect gathering spot for our family. Great house to spread out. Well appointed kitchen, stunning views, super convenient location, lap pool, hot tub.... smoothie stand, who could ask for anything more? We will return for sure. Great host as well.
Wonderful Family Vacation
We traveled to the Ritz Carlton Club on St. Thomas with two young children and my mother. We rented this three-bedroom unit and could not have been happier. Debbie was very responsive and informative during booking and before our arrival. The Ritz Club, itself, had excellent customer service. We had everything we needed and felt comfortable and safe. There are just a few negatives with the Ritz Club itself, and I think they are working on these items.
First, the beach is essentially non-existent. It seems to have a large erosion problem which would likely take a lot of manpower and resources to fix. There is a small "nook" of beach on the far side of the property, but is about it in terms of beach access.
Second, there is really only one dining restaurant at the Club side right now and that is Coconut Cove. We were satisfied with every meal we ate there, but be aware it is pricey and it is the only option for you at the Club. You can walk over to the hotel side for a light lunch at Sails, or an expensive breakfast buffet at Bleuwater, but your dinner option is Alloro on the hotel side. So, two dinner options (one at the Club and one at the hotel), two lunch options (one at the Club and one at the hotel), and one breakfast option at the hotel. It was not convenient for all of us to walk to the hotel side, so we ate at Coconut Cove and provisioned our unit with breakfast items. Like I said, good food, but pricey and fewer options than I originally anticipated.
That is about it for any negatives we had. More positives include a heated pool and heated kids pool, which we took full advantage of.
It really is a beautiful unit and property and the staff is nothing shy of amazing.
The apartment is great, conveniently located at the Ritz, and therefore get the benefit of great service and attention. Kids enjoyed it greatly.
