Great space a short walk from town
We had six adults and two children in our group, and the house was the perfect size for us. It was set back far enough from the main road that the house was quiet and away from the crowds, but it was only a short walk to the beach, tennis courts, or into town. The beds were comfortable and multiple AC units meant that bedrooms could be kept as cool as each person wanted. Linens were provided, which was a big plus. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and place settings, and we made use of the grill outside several times. Outdoor space was limited, but being so close to the park it didn't matter much. We had a lovely time and hope to return again next summer!
Thanks you so much for spending time in Bolton Landing. We were so pleased with the condition of the house when you left. We love good renters like you!
Perfect getaway for a family or friend group, and very close to the sagamore, beach, and all of Bolton's fun shops!
Great location in Bolton Landing
We had a very nice 3-night stay in this property for 4 adults and 2 toddlers. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out. The location was great— tons of restaurants, shops, waterfront parks, and a playground/beach just a short walk away. We barely used our cars during our stay. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials and has a dishwasher— there is also a grill on the porch and the owners provide propane.
My only feedback is that the washer and dryer really need to be replaced. My son got carsick on the ride to Lake George and I needed to do a load of laundry immediately upon arriving. After running a small load through the washing machine two times and then drying it everything was still visibly soiled. That made me worry about the cleanliness of the towels and the linens provided in the house, which are all presumably washed in those machines.
Other than that I would recommend this property. The location is great and Kate was available and responsive via phone call and text.
Perfect For Our Family
This house worked out great for our family. My nephew and his fiancé were getting married 2.2 miles down the road at Blue Water Manor, so our accommodations were closer than anyone attending the wedding. The house is set up beautifully with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms which worked out perfectly for all of our family that was able to attend the wedding. We had never been to the Lake George area, but would like to definitely come back up when we would have more time to explore. Easy walk right to Bolton Landing which packs a whole lot of neat shops, restaurants, etc. in a very small area. Kate is super accommodating and will do everything within her power to make your stay enjoyable.
Great location and owner, but somewhat dated
We really loved walking into the charming town every day. It's also in a quiet, peaceful area. Kate is flexible to work with as well. When we arrived, the bathrooms weren't cleaned very well, but Kate got the crew to come back again. The home has a spacious layout, but the decor is somewhat dated, the appliances are a bit older, and our bed wasn't comfortable. We really enjoyed Lake George, but as you look up places to stay, keep in mind there are lots of older and newer places. I think our taste just may prefer the newer places.
Cute and Comfortable Family Getaway
Comfortable home with 4 spacious bedrooms and an open kitchen/dining/living space with room for the whole family to spend time together. Short walk to a sandy beach, playground, local restaurants and stores, and boat rentals. The owner was super sweet and easy to work with. You won't be disappointed.
Raja was very easy to work with, communicated well and followed house rules to a "T".
So glad they had a fun weekend and were able to enjoy the nice weather.
Thank you to Raja and family for staying with us!
