Cottage, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4).
My wife, Sandy and I have been year round residents of Martha's Vineyard for the past 15 years. We moved to the Island from NYC in 1994 and are raising our two kids, Sam 7 and Charlotte 15 on the Island.
Mike purchased this Cottage in 1994
Why Mike chose Edgartown
We love the Island and feel lucky to live in such beautiful place!
What makes this Cottage unique
The location is incredibly convenient to the beach and both Edgartown and Oak Bluffs.

Wonderful and cozy cottage
This is a wonderful and cozy cottage that worked for us in every way - location is walking distance to downtown Edgartown and an easy walk to Bend in the Road beach - the fenced in yard was great for our two pups - the cottage was very clean and stocked with everything we needed and more - owners are a pleasure to work with - would highly recommend this cottage to anyone hoping to enjoy all the Island has to offer - thank you Sandy and Mike!
Charming cottage with everything you need.
Lovely little cottage, very clean and comfortable. Everything you could possibly need for cooking. We LOVED the outdoor shower !!! Grill worked great. Mike sent us a detailed email with places to go/see/ Much appreciated. Great to be right next to the bike trail that we used daily. Perfect location and accommodations. Would most definitely highly recommend. Thank you Mike and Sandy !

We have been staying here many years and always look forward to our summer trips up to the island. The cottage has everything you need, is centrally located, and the owners are very responsive. Can’t wait for our next trip back up.

FISHING Just a 1/2 mile away the bend in the road beach offers some of the best surfcasting on the vineyard, head another 1/2 mile down the road and drop a line off big bridge spot for Stripers and Blues.
CLAMMING Just a ten minute walk is Sengekontacket pond by far one of the very best clamming spots on the Island.
CRABBING 5 minute walk toward the beach is a colvert where the salt pond rushes under the road. Great spot for catching crabs.
KITE SURFING Well known for its great windsurfing, Sengekontacket pond is also quickly becoming known as one of the best places in the east coast for kite surfing. Vineyard native, Rob Douglas, earned the title of fastest kite sailor in the world & can be regularly found rippin' it up on Sengekontacket pond.
On the far side of the State Beach, 10 min by bike, Kayaks can be rented.
1 mile down the road, nothing like Jumping off State Beach's big bridge, you'll regularly find kids and adults alike enjoying a plunge.
