#203 Has Two Bedrooms And A Queen Sized Sleeper In the Living Room.

All of our apartments are stocked with kitchen and bathroom essentials, blow dryers, irons, ironing boards, and free wifi access.

203 is on the corner of Pike and Harvard and features a large bay window where the dining room table sits, giving a great view down to the street.

There are two bedrooms: one has a queen bed, the other has two adult-sized (extra long) twins. The sofa in the living room is a sleeper made by American Leather. It has a queen-sized foam bed on a solid platform and is very comfortable for a sleeper.

There is one bathroom with a combination tub/shower. The kitchen is small but efficient. It has a full sized fridge, a four burner electric stove with oven, a large microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender and all the cookware needed to cook in the apartment, including basics like oil, spices, etc.

There are three TVs in this apartment. In the kitchen and master bedroom there are 40" TV's, it is a 32" in the second bedroom, and all feature dish network and DVD players.

The master has a queen bed, good closet space and lots of drawer space between the nightstands and the dresser. The desk doubles as a make-up table. We hung lamps on the wall to leave more space on the night stands. Each has a clock and room for your books, phones, etc., just like home.

The second bedroom has two adult sized twins. Unlike normal twins these are the length of a queen sized bed, so they're long enough for a tall person. This room also has good storage between the little closet, the dresser and the night stand.

The apartment building was originally and up until we bought it a place with little tiny apartments sharing a bath in the hallway. This apartment was originally three and they all shared the bath. They were little apartments but for over a hundred years people lived in them that way.

Built in 1905, St. John's has character. It has large halls and beautiful old woodwork; it's a great place!

Extra fees to be aware of: Parking is $15 per day if you need it. If you require a pack-n-play for your baby we will happily set one up with sheets and a blanket for a $25 fee.

About Bryce Montgomery

Mark and Oda own St. John's Apartments. They live in the country about an hour from the building, and use the short-terms when they want to come into town. Christine is their short term rental manager. We try very hard to make sure the place is very comfortable and has all the items a traveler could ever need. It's a job, and a hobby, and it's fun. We feel very lucky to have St. Johns!

Why Bryce Montgomery chose Central

Mark and Oda were very careful in their selection of this building when they bought it. When they saw St. John's they knew it was the right place, after looking at many other buildings. It required a lot of work to bring it up to our standards, and many additional dollars too! But it was well worth it. Built in 1905, the place has a rich history. (Actually it's a poor history. The people that have lived here have always been working class, struggling to get by.) The building itself has character. The open air design and the old woodwork gives it a special feel. It's just a great place to be!

What makes this apartment unique

In addition to just loving the building, we love the neighborhood, the location and the convenience of it all. The large grocery store across the street is excellent. And we're surrounded with great restaurants and lots of fun little shops. We're not in the middle of the big stores in downtown Seattle; we're in the middle of the little quirky shops that are so much more fun to explore. The neighborhood is amazing. If you like night life there's a huge set of bars just a few blocks away, several with dance floors and live music and many with just great decor, great drinks and an amazing place to see what it's like to live in Seattle.

What a comfortable, clean, convenient apartment

This is my second time using VRBO and again.... I couldn't be more pleased. All my questions and concerns were promptly answered and addressed by the owner. The location was perfect...just across the street from a grocery store...restaurants and bars all along the street....and to top it off...a Starbucks within a block. We were also just down the street from downtown Seattle... so close to Pikes Market and other tourist attractions. Would totally recommend this location.

Their were two negatives....since we were going on an Alaskan cruise we had quite a few bags and apartment located on second floor. So carrying bags up stairs was a bit taxing on my parents....and we also were there on the weekend.... So on Saturday nite it was a bit noisy....but easily remedied by turning fan speed up on air conditioner....

Family Visiting for 10 Days - Great Price!

My family is in town for a 10-day visit from Germany. I live on First Hill and wanted something close, affordable and with easy city access for my family. The location is great, although, some homeless people are scattered around. However, they are all mostly friendly.

The apartment itself is is an older apartment, but it has all new updates. The beds are comfy, TV's in every room and the 2 bedroom apartment we have is very spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped and my family loves the patio in the back. We have been playing cards or relaxing there just about every night this week (the weather has been great).

Last things: Management is great and Johnny has been exceptional. I do recommend getting the parking spots if they are available. City parking is terrible.

Apartment worked perfectly for two 50 yr olds with 3 teen / grown kids. The living room was small, but worked great for us. It was clean and staff was through and professional. The neighborhood was fantastic, but could be loud at night. We assumed it would an active area and we wanted to be where we had so much near by and we walked everywhere leaving the car parked in the lot behind apartment. Most of us used ear plugs while we slept and didn't notice the evening noise. This is our new favorite rental in seattle. Positives: Priced right, clean, location, comfy, and management. Viola!

Three blocks away is a great park-Cal Anderson Park. It has lots of play fields for all ages and courts. Right across the street from Cal Anderson is Seattle's best bookstore, Elliott Bay Books. And across from that EveryDay Music, Seattle's best music store. Between St. John's and these places are many restaurants and three live music venues. You don't have to walk far to enjoy what Seattle has to offer.

And downtown Seattle, heading the other direction, is just 10 blocks to the middle of town with all the big fancy stores. To get there one walks down Pike Street, going right past the Washington State Convention Center. It's an eight block walk there. (We have lots of Convention goers stay with us.) And if you keep on walking past the center of downtown, after about 15 blocks you run into the Pike Place Market. It's a partially open-air market with all kinds of produce and hand-made goods, and is one of our most popular spots. Just beyond that is the waterfront where the cruise ships depart for Alaska and for short day trips. It's all very close and walkable.
