Whatta Stay!

  • 5 of 5

Pictures just don't do justice to this place. So clean, comfortable and spacious. It was just the two of us, but would also be great with the kids. Great location in the middle keys so we were able to plan day trips to Key West and Miami. We rented a 23' boat and were able to park it behind the owners boat with plenty of room. It was nice to walk out the door and jump right into the boat. Be careful though, there's a very friendly, resident manatee that would come up and say good morning, most mornings. There's a cleaning table right next to the dockage. The patio area is a perfect place to have a quiet BBQ or entertain. The car park is covered so your car won't get hot in the sun. The bed in the master is memory foam and was very comfortable and huge. Could go on and on. Great place! 'Great people to work with! Great location! Great Stay! If available...Book it! You won't be disappointed.

Great place to stay in the Keys

  • 5 of 5

We can't say enough great things about this rental. The house is clean and very nicely decorated. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare some of our meals at home when we weren't enjoying the great local restaurants. The house has a washer/dryer that allowed us to keep up with the laundry while we were there and not have to pack as much for the trip.

It was perfect for the our family with two boys - 12 and 10. We loved the large master bedroom with a king size bed and the boys had a room to themselves with bunk beds and their own TV.

The tiki hut and table on the back deck allowed us to eat outside and watch the great sunsets. We spent some time fishing the canal and while we didn't catch anything I'm sure it was our lack of experience more than lack of fish because there were good sized fish jumping out of the water all day, every day. We also loved watching the manatees swim in and out of the canal each day - some even came in close to check us out.

The house is on a quiet side street and was convenient for our daily excursions to the nearby beaches or down to Key West. It was also only a few minutes away from Robbie's where we rented kayaks, paddle boards and jet skis at different points to experience the beautiful water all around us.

We would highly recommend this place for families that want to relax in the Keys and just enjoy spending some quality time together. Alex was great to work with and made sure that everything was perfect for our stay. We hope to do it again some time in the future.

Relax in Comfort

  • 5 of 5

The We Key House was a perfect home base for exploring and enjoying southern Florida. Alex and Lily were congenial and attentive hosts who warmly welcomed us into their home. The home was attractively decorated and absolutely immaculate. Photos can't do justice to the interior spaces. The kitchen was well-equipped and functioned easily for meal preparation. The beds were comfortable and sported lovely linens.

We spent many relaxing hours in the tiki hut, watching the pelicans, fish, and manatees that visited the canal.

The location was great and allowed us to make day trips to nearby state parks, Key West, and the Everglades.

We had a wonderful stay and a welcome respite from winter. It was hard to leave!

Wonderful Experience

  • 5 of 5

We had no idea the house would be so clean and comfortable. We were fine with what we saw on the Internet but it was even better in person! Alex showed us around and gave us a list of nice restaurants and marinas to visit. The neighborhood was quiet, and honestly, we can't think of anything that was unpleasant or a nuisance during our stay. This trip only consisted of me and my wife but we will surely return and bring the kids with us next time. We are so looking forward to coming back!!

Islamorada is well known for its deep sea fishing, boating and crystal clear ocean water. Some must do's when coming to Islamorada are the following: deep sea fishing, snorkeling at Alligator Reef, feeding the tarpons at Robbie's (located at mile marker 77), eating at the world famous Islamorada Fish Company where you can see the shark feeding daily at sunset, and also don't forget to go on the scenic drive to Key West where amazing sunsets await. If you would like a romantic night out or a fun filled night with the family, you must stop at Morada Bay for their monthly full moon parties. In walking distance you have Caloosa Cove Marina, where you can charter a fishing boat for the day, or rent a boat for ocean fun. There is a gas station and a convenience store. Located on the same property, you have Habanos Oceanfront Dining. They serve delicious Latin food and amazing pizzas. Also, they can cook your fresh catch once your fun day is coming to an end. Overlooking the ocean, you have Safari Lounge(a local favorite). You can grab a drink, shoot some pool and throw some darts. Around mile marker 80 you have the well known Outback Steakhouse. At mile marker 79 there is yet another fantastic restaurant, Lazy Days Restaurant, that offers wonderful ocean views. Another fun activity that the whole family can enjoy is bike riding. You can ride up to Robbie's Feed the Tarpons, or you can head south towards the fishing pier. Whatever you choose to do, Islamorada has much to offer.
