A lovely apartment based in Notting Hill Gate, only 3 minutes walk to Notting Hill tube, Kensington Palace and Gardens.

Close by is an excellent variety of pubs, cafes, bars and restaurants on Notting Hill Gate and Portobello Road, where the famous market takes place every weekend.

A walk across the park will take you to the Victoria & Albert and British Science Museums and the Royal Albert Hall.

A number of supermarkets are also close by, and Oxford Street and Westfield Shopping centre are a 5 minute bus ride away.

High Street Kensington and Holland Park are also walking distance.

Excellent transport links are walking distance away, including Notting Hill Gate, Queensway and Bayswater tube stations, and several bus routes.

Wonderful apartment in Nottinghill

My friend and I stayed at this lovely apartment for 6 days. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The apartment is clean and spacious. The art work and furnishings are comfortable and attractive. It is a basement apartment, but the living room and bedrooms get good natural light. The location is fantastic and there are great restaurants within walking distance. Also, the tube is very close. All in all, this is an outstanding apartment and I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Great apartment when visiting London - welcoming and warm!

I brought my 16 yr-old niece to spend a week in London -- her first visit -- and it was wonderful having such a nice apartment to come home to each evening! Great location with easy access to the Underground, shops, restaurants, and lovely park/gardens. The apartment had everything we could need, and Francesca provided extra welcome with a bottle of wine, fresh milk, and flowers. We felt very well cared for! Christos' art on the walls was another terrific extra. I would be delighted to come back in the future.

Quaint & welcoming basement flat. Plenty of light & original artwork. Quiet. Close to 3 Tube lines

Quaint 2/2 basement flat. Perfect for a family of 4 (2 adults, 1 young adult - 22, 1 teenager - 15). Located on a quiet culdesac street. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and was 2-3 blocks to Notting Hill Underground station where you can catch 3 different tube lines on go almost anywhere in the city. Kensington Gardens 2 blocks if you want to stroll, run or bike. Kensington Palace, Hyde Park a couple of blocks, also a great way to be outdoors and explore. Grocery and drug store (2-4 blocks). Zizzi's restaurant on the corner was our go to if no plans for dinner for great pizza. Wine, beer, liquor 1 block. We didn't find a flat booklet but figured things out. When you arrive, figure out how the showers work in both bathrooms and call or have Francesca or Christos come by and show you as they are not straight forward. The dryer has a water canister that needs to be emptied (we don't have this in the US), and the dryer didn't dry the clothes very well. This was not a big issue and I alerted Francesca for the next tenant. In the US we would call this a basement flat but it actually gets a lot of nice light from the large window in the front and there is an outdoor area (not usable) that lets light into the hall and master bedroom area. The flat is all white so this also brightens it and has lovely original artwork throughout which adds a warm welcoming feeling once you settle in. The couch was comfortable but could be replaced. I would also add throws for cooler months. Using the heater makes it too warm in the 2nd bedroom. The flat was clean and ready for our arrival. Directions didn't indicate "Unit 1 or basement flat". Upon arriving we were very confused to find the main entrance marked "11" with call buttons 1-9, but no unit number and no mat with a key. We called Francesca and Christos and figured it out quickly it was a basement flat and had a separate entrance. Once inside, we were able to relax, unpack, and walk to Tesco, the closest grocery to stock up for the week. Christos came by to help orient us to the unit. We also had fresh flowers on the table and a bottle of wine and some milk in the refrigerator, which was a nice welcoming gesture. We all enjoyed our 8-night stay and quickly made it our home for the week. No problems with Wi-Fi or TV and the unit had everything we needed for our stay.

Fantastic flat in Notting Hill

Our family of 4 (two adults, two kids) just returned from a week long stay in this flat. It was quaint, cozy, clean, and in a great location, just a few minutes from the Tube and lots of restaurants and shops. The beds were really comfortable, and the bedrooms were very quiet at night. We loved this flat and recommend it without question.

Comfy apartment in excellent location.

Clean and spacious. Thank you for the the delicious, complimentary South African wine, milk in the fridge and allowing us a later check out!! We also really appreciated the owner meeting us for check in at a very late hour of the evening. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay at our Nottinghill VRBO. The apartment was cozy and we had plenty of space to relax at the end of a day of sightseeing. The location was close to the tube and we had easy access to all the sites. The adds plus is that Nottinghill is not right in the middle of the tourist area so the pubs and restaurants were never crowded and we always got a seat right way. A perfect location for our family of four. The owners were also very prompt meeting us for checking in to the flat.
