Window heating and air unit. The queen size bed boasts an ultra comfortable mattress with luxurious linens. The living area offers a comfortable sofa, fireplace, a 40' flat screen TV, DVD player and nice sitting area.

Designer kitchen has stainless steel appliances, microwave and granite countertops. Kitchen is fully equipped with designer dinnerware, cooking utensils, wine glasses and champagne flutes. Complimentary coffee, creamer & bottled water provided.

Located in one of the most prestigious homes in the landmark historic district directly on Forsyth Park.

Built in 1870 for the city Treasurer John Williamson, the home is located directly on Forsyth Park next door to the Magnolia Hall Inn owned by the Savannah College of Art and Design and only steps away from the famed Forsyth Park fountain. Many shops, restaurants and cultural destinations are a short walk away. This is the ideal location for your visit to Savannah.

About Deborah Schott

The home is owned by Mr. Brett Turner and Dr. Kimberly Turner. Originally from Florida, Mr. Turner has been a real estate developer for the last 20 years living in the Savannah area for the last 5 years. Dr. Turner, a Periodontist, is originally from Hartford Connecticut and opened her medical practice in Savannah in 2007. Both of the Turners are very active, love to travel and are avid triathletes. We've had a wonderful week in Savannah and surrounding areas. We have walked all over the city and enjoyed every moment of it. In particular the Mercer Williams house and Juliet Gordon Lowe Birthplace were special places and also Bonaventure Cemetery. We enjoyed a meal at Firefly but for beautiful and exceptional cuisine 700 Drayton was the best. The location of the suite is perfect and was everything we needed for 2 people. Deborah responded quickly to our requests and was helpful and friendly. Thank you to the Turner's for the pleasure of sharing your home.

Didn’t want to leave...This place is truly a gem! Enjoyed the walks around the park with my pup at all hours of the day/night. Location was key and walking distance or a quick bike taxi to everything downtown. Definitely enjoyed the horse carriage rides and the history of Savanna! If I could suggest anything it would be a newer mattress and loveseat. Definitely would love to come back soon!

great location, charm and um... great location

Wonderful location in the city on the best park. Street noise was an issue during morning and evening rushes. All problems were immediately addressed by property manager although surprising they were needing to be addressed for the rates. We met our neighbor renters that were staying a month and they clearly had a four stay compared to ours so skip the park suite and rent garden if Availability allows. Was perplexed by the welcoming text saying that the garden area was off limits and that the parking was on street a block away. The neighborhood is safe but thats a schlep not expected with luggage. The parking also is also cut in half on fridays for street cleaning so you may need to move your car during your stay for street cleaning. Was astounded more bike routes and greening standards havent made it to Savannah. Amazing city but not bike friendly and recycling has yet to come to this southern belle.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear that you did not have a "5 star" stay with us, as that is always our goal. In response to your comment about the street noise, I wanted to share with you that the city of Savannah has a plan in place to change the streetscape in front of our home so that Whitaker Street will be one lane of traffic with a bike lane and landscaped median. We hope that will be coming in the near future. Savannah does have recycling, its to the rear of the home. The rear garden is private because we have dogs that are often unattended out back. I'm sorry that we are unable to share that space with our guests. You are correct in that the garden suite is much larger than the park suite, I think that is reflected in the price. Hopefully, you will choose to stay with us again and the garden suite will be available. We would be happy to give you a 20% discount if you choose to stay with us again and will do our best to make sure that your next stay is truly 5 star! Again, thank you for choosing our home for your visit to Savannah.
