The two-story wraparound decks have Gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico with screened in areas, as well as open areas to view the unforgettable sunsets, sunrises and star gazing. All 5 bedrooms have a private entrance to the decks, where there is plenty of comfortable deck furniture to enjoy the panoramic scenes of the Gulf of Mexico, St. Vincent Island and Indian Lagoon.

The house sits on pilings and at ground level there is covered parking with a protected entrance, a outdoor shower, a screened in fish cleaning room, a Huge Industrial Size barbecue grill, and a fenced in yard with pool and fully equipped pool/patio furniture. There is a protected shuffle board court under the carport, a Custom Made Horseshoe pit and assorted outdoor games, as well.

We provide all linens and towels. You may want to bring extra beach towels.

While 3 PALMS is classified as a first-tier gulf View home, the huge beach at Indian Pass begins 30 ft. from the driveway. Here you will find one of the largest and widest beaches anywhere in the Cape San Blas area.

Famous St. Vincent Island is in plain view from both the house and the beach.

Because of the unique topographic features of Indian Pass Beach there are many different spots to choose from. You can hang out right next to the water or you can protect yourself in the cooler months between the natural sand dunes. You literally can walk the beach for miles. Indian Pass is one of the more popular bird watching areas in the country. Not to mention the almost daily sightings of dolphins frolicking in the water.

Bring your boats, your wave runner, your kayak, a sailboat, or rent one. There is a boat launch less than 1 mile away from 3 PALMS at the Indian Pass campground.

Here you can also stock up on supplies for fishing or snacking. St. Vincent is less than a quarter of a mile away by ferry from the Indian Pass Campground. You can rent bikes here, take the ferry across the channel and explore one of the most beautiful nature preserves found anywhere . Of course you can walk all over the island and fish or swim in total seclusion. Cars are not permitted.

Speaking of FISHING, Indian Pass has some of the best fishing you'll find anywhere. Indian pass is bordered on the East by Indian Pass Lagoon, a shallow waterbed full of many varieties of fish and home to the famous Indian Pass oyster beds. The Gulf is on the west side, and I personally have caught eight different kinds of species of fish. At the tip of Indian Pass, by the campground, there is a waterway that comes from the confluence of the Apalachicola River and Bay that goes out to the Gulf. St. Vincent Island is on the other side of this passageway. This is an ideal fishing spot because of the travel patterns of the fish feeding and going out to the Gulf. This is particularly fantastic when the breezes are high out on the gulf.

So when you leave the drive way of 3 PALMS you can turn right and enter the beach to fish or you could take a left and walk 1/4 mile to the Indian Pass Lagoon and fish, or go to the campground, and fish the protected channel. Indian Pass offers an extremely unique and diversified fishing experience, well suited for the many varieties of fish, in any kind of weather condition. The screened in fish cleaning room located at ground level is perfect for preparing your freshly caught delicacy.

If and when you get tired of fishing in this wonderful little community you can always pick up a guide and go fishing in St. Joe Bay. Presnell’s Harbor is 10 minutes away and they can fix you up with a guide, the equipment, including license, and find some great action in the bay. They will clean your catch as well, 4 hours cost $100, or so. Want to go deep Sea fishing? See link for some of the greatest deep sea fishing ever. During the season (summer) grab a bucket and go pick scallops yourself. Check out Dead Lakes, check out the Apalachicola River, where 6 rivers come together and create the greatest oyster bed in the world. The Indian Pass compound is a very quiet family oriented, people friendly place. Where you can walk the tiny neighborhood and kids can even ride their bikes. It has a very special ambiance and solitude, amidst a very, very unique opportunity to be one with nature.

A must place to eat is the world famous Indian Pass Raw Oyster Bar. Located less than a mile from 3 PALMS at C-30 and Indian Pass Road. You can't miss it, is the old dilapidated rundown gas station. Don't be deceived however; they have some of the best and freshest oysters, shrimp, crap and jambalaya you'll ever taste. You can get food to go here as well. Got more friends or family coming? Have them camp at the campground or stay at the Turtle Beach Inn located on Indian Pass Road. A wonderful bed and breakfast right on the gulf.

St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. is just minutes away from 3 PALMS and has wonderful opportunities for fishing, surfing, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking and just plain relaxing at the #1 rated beach in the Continental U.S. for 2002 .

Guestbook comments from the manager

My husband and I enjoyed Three Palms immensely! The House, Layout, Amenities and Beach Location are fabulous. We love the area, it is definitely “Old Florida” at its best. No traffic or congestion and abundant wildlife everywhere. It is a perfect environment to just relax and kick back.

The “Compound” itself has so many wonderful places to promote fun and relaxation. We hung out at the pool with a fence that blocked the wind and wished we had more time to try the paddle boards. Between the ground floor/car port area and the two huge surround decks there are plenty of seating options! Waking up in the morning and looking out to see the trees and water was exhilarating. The star gazing at Night was unrivaled.

Each morning we would walk down the very short beach access path to the huge empty beach. We wished we brought our dogs as the house is pet friendly with doggie gates all over.

The home was well stocked and super clean. Everything we could possibly need was in the home. The owner was very helpful and accommodating, a pleasure to work with. Because the Compound is so large we were worried about it being too big for just the 2 of us, however we found it to be quite a treat to have all that room and space!

We would give Three Palms a 5 Star Rating of 5, and definitely come back and tell our friends and family about this very special beach getaway!

Very well taken care of and had just about all that you need to have a great relaxing time .

  • 5 of 5

First just let me say, when I told the people that I work with we were going to Cape San Blast they said you will love it. Well we did have a great /wonderful time and played games laughed everyday and enjoyed all we could . But the area the home is in is Indian Pass. There is a difference however the water color was the same in both areas as we went over to see about riding the waves there. It may not be hindering to others to get in water you can’t see your feet but I’m not doing it. So our wave riding was done on St.George Island about 45-minutes away. As the week went on we 3 couples made the best with the ocean water. Our last night the winds died down enough for us to have a fire on the beach and it was perfect the full moon over the ocean a fire to roast marshmallows just wonderfully made from our Heavenly Father. A-picture perfect ending to a great anniversary trip. Overall there were only a few things I would change and of course (1) the color of ocean water which is totally out of human control, (2) a small bathroom at ground level(3) pool heating options. I do believe this Home deserves 5 stars as it has so much to offer. We didn’t use the kids area which is awesome and the twin bedroom. So it will accommodate lots of people. Thanks again for a great trip and lots of memories.

Very nice home and beach.

  • 5 of 5

The home was perfect for our 4 families. (Only wish the fourth bedroom also had a king). The kids loved the kids room. The house was very clean and ready for our arrival. The pool was ok, wish it was heated or covered with a solar cover. We were able to bring a dog, which was quite nice. We frequently went to the beach-absolutely perfect! It was not at all busy, and the people there were very friendly. The shore fishing was great. We did go into town for shopping and restaurants. Drive time either direction was about 20 minutes. The Indian Pass Raw Bar at the end of the street was quite convenient.

The owner, Peter, was informative prior to arrival - my husband talked to him a bit before we left and while we were there.

Overall our stay at Three Palms was excellent and I would recommend this to others.

Beach Heaven

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Three Palms during spring 2018. It was like we had rented our own private island. No high rise condos or hotels and no traffic except a few locals on golf carts and a few fishermen. We had the whole beach to ourselves!! The beach was a short walk across the street down a trail. (our little ones never had trouble ) The house was wonderful also. ( too bad we had cold weather or we would have loved to have used the pool ) The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. (the kitchen even had large enough pots to boil seafood in and towels were clean and soft). It was a plus that each room had it's own bathroom!! and the kids loved having their own room that they ALL could play and sleep in. Peter and his management team went over and beyond to make our stay exceptional. (they never hesitated ) We would recommend this house to others. could not have chosen a better beach rental for our family florida trip!! Thank you !!

Family Getaway....peacful oasis

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at three palms property March 10-17, 2018. Our first impression was wow! The pictures/videos are 100% representative of the actual house and it was more than enough room for all 11 of us (6 adults/5 kids ranging from 1-12 yrs). The owners Peter and Lydia Burns along with their property management team that we encountered, Kelly Oaks and Nancy, were more than welcoming, available for any needs/issues/questions from the start of clicking the rental button, to the end making sure we were going to be prepared and have the best vacation they could offer to us, and we did! I've never encountered an owner that was more involved in the renters needs and making sure things were supplied to enhance our experience! We were assisted during our journey down to the area by Kelly giving us information via phone on local restaurants and places to find things we wanted to get before getting to the house. She contacted me several times to make sure we had everything we needed. Peter then followed up with a phone call to give us the low down on the best restaurants in the area as well. We felt very welcomed and relaxed knowing we had everything we needed that the house provided and could focus on our fun and how many shells we could find! The quick beautiful stroll to the beach from the house is filled with lush vegetation which then opens up to clean, clear white beach for miles with tons of beautiful shells (especially sand dollars!) to collect and at this time no one in sight!(we met a few locals that were very friendly and only about a total of 10 ppl the whole week! Talk about seclusion-We loved it!) The weather was cold but sunny. It didn't stop us from spending each day on the beach bundled up to play in the sand, hunt for shells, and even have a small bon fire one evening. The amenities were abundant from outside fun to inside convenience of every kitchen tool you would need and even hand soap provided! The kid room upstairs was the BEST! It gave us so much room for all the kids to play, nap, hang out while the adults had some time downstairs. The wrap around porches were so wonderful to have. We played bowling with our kids play set on it and at night watched the stars in the clear sky. The local community was about 15 mins away where we went for ice cream, grocery shopped, and found some fun places to eat and explore. We found yummy seafood at the market in Indian Pass which made my birthday celebrate even better! We definitely recommend 3Palms!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful cozy house

Nice and cozy house. Pool was a bit small but perfect for the kids. Short walk to a very beautiful and secluded beach. Closest people to us on the beach where at least 100 yds away. Under 30 seconds away with golf cart.

Three Palms is located in the 'Forgotten Coast' area of the Florida Panhandle, between Panama City and Apalachicola / Tallahassee. It is in Gulf County, and unlike Destin, Pensacola and Panama City there are no huge condo's on the beach. In fact building regulations, both commercial and residential, prohibit any kind of buildings taller than 3 stories. This area is a truly pristine, remote and unspoiled paradise. The beach at the Cape San Blas State Park was rated the #1 Beach (Dr. Beach) in all of the USA in 2004.

The St. Joe Bay lays on the East side of Cape San Blas Peninsula and provides for fantastic fishing, snorkeling and Scallop picking.

There is a bike path from the State Park to County Highway C-30-A . You can rent bikes and kayaks to enjoy these activities. Ride horses on the beach. Hire a fishing charter. Play golf. Catch blue crabs. Collect shells. Enjoy the tremendous wildlife species. Dolphins, Sea Turtles, Eagles and may other species.

Fresh Shrimp, Oysters, Crab, Grouper are abundant. Take an Eco-Tour of St. Joe Bay or the Apalachicola River Estuary.

Visit St. Vincent Wildlife Refuge and rent a bike or go fish the many lakes and beach fishing available. Have a bonfire on the beach. Get a permit to ride on the beach.

Enjoy the pool at Three Palms, the quiet neighborhood, the huge amount of living space in the compound and the Indian Pass Boat Ramp less than 1 mile away.

Or.....just lay by the pool,on the beach or deck furniture, and relax!!!!!
