As commented by previous visitors, it is spacious yet welcoming, warm and inviting yet cool and restful after a day out of sightseeing. It is in a beautiful area perfect for walking, exploring and horseback riding. In addition to the nearby charming town of Ronda with its famous monuments and bullring, there are the wonderful cities of Sevilla, Granada and Cordoba to visit near this Andalusia villa. To one side of the estate are spectacular views of the Sierra de Ronda and to the other a beautiful vista of fertile, undulating farmland. Immerse yourself in the real Spain, the real Andalucia!
This lovely two story Andalucia villa rental has its own entrance and pretty garden with lawn, shade trees, and a swimming pool that is open all year round (15m x 6m x 1.5m deep). The covered dining terrace leads directly out from the kitchen and has lounge chairs and a table perfect for cocktails before dinner at the dining table which seats 10 people comfortably. There is private parking outside of the front gate.

This villa is the home of the owner and has beautiful sculptures, paintings and objet d'art. The house has overhead fans in every room to cool the house during the summer and central heating to warm the house during the winter.
Ground Floor: The front door of the villa leads into a large entrance hall with a marble staircase leading to the first floor. The 15m living room is entered from the entrance hall through double sliding doors. This room is light and airy with large picture windows, a large open fireplace and 3 large comfortable sofas and armchair with foot stool. There is a large flat screen TV and an extensive library of books, CDs, and DVD's (not to be removed from the house), plus a top-of-the-line music system. The living room has French doors opening onto the terrace overlooking the swimming pool. The dining room has an antique dining table with seating for 10 people. The kitchen is very well equipped with two large refrigerators/freezers, a professional 6-burner cook top with a double oven, a microwave, blender, coffee makers, etc. There is a separate guest bathroom with WC and sink. There is a large laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Also on the ground floor are two large bedrooms; one of which has a queen-sized bed and the other with two 90cm single beds. This bedroom has large French doors leading out onto the garden and terrace. These two bedrooms share a large bathroom with a bath, shower, single basin and WC.
First Floor: The staircase from the entry hall leads to the first floor (15 steps). The master suite has a king-size bed, a comfortable sofa and windows on three sides, including French doors to the terrace (which runs the length of the house) The bathroom is very large and comprises a bath, bidet, vanity unit with double sinks and a large shower. In the passage leading from the bedrooms is a library. There are two additional large double bedrooms with queen-size beds and ensuite bathrooms with shower, sink and WC.

Location - outdoor space even in cool, rainy weather, it was delightful - the overall layout and comfortable feel of the entire place.
Peaceful, beautiful gardens and landscaping, secluded without being far removed from Ronda and other places we wanted to visit.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Ronda - would have been a long and possibly traffic-congested walk - the drive was just fine and quick.

We did bring our own Tide laundry pods and our own peanut butter - but the villa had detergent available...and we don't like Nutella which seems to be the only nut butter available anywhere we travel in Europe!
The tricky part in the directions for us was where we were to turn off of the main road from Sevilla - we misunderstood the turn after the blue lodging highway indicators and ended up on the wrong road...but we did have our own GPS and knew we were within five miles of the place and a few inquiries got us there!

Caroline and Robert were very welcoming and helpful...and had a welcome basket that far exceeded any expectations bread, cheese, meats, butter, wines, crackers, etc. etc. All went extremely smoothly at both arrival and departure.
Finca Ronda is an estate of 3.5 acres of mature olive trees and beautiful gardens, consisting of three separate villas, all of which are available to rent: The rental property is a ten minute drive from the ancient town of Ronda, one of Andalucia's most interesting cultural and historic centers. The surrounding area, the Serrania de Ronda, encompasses beautiful scenery: lakes, towering mountains, pre-historic gorges, and spectacular vistas. It is an area of many contrasts and rich diversity. Between Finca Ronda-Villa Alba and Finca Ronda-Villa Sol there is a natural green fence, but since the houses are only 60 m apart, each is visable from the other. Finca Ronda-Villa Adora is further away and completely isolated from the other two.
