AMAZING!
This home is a gem. The location and views are spectacular. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the entire home is so throughtfully decorated. We felt we were in a moderniz Swiss Chalet. The Schneider's immediately texted back when we had a question, and were kind enough to let us check in early. We are hoping to return! Lake Tahoe and this home are magical.

Perfect family getaway on Tahoe West Shore with gorgeous view of the Lake!
Our family of 5 (boys 10-17) had a perfect stay at this well appointed cabin in July 2023. We woke to breathtaking sunrises and sipped hot chocolate while looking at the stars at night from the spacious decks. House was well stocked with all supplies, even a panini press & ice cream maker. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot to do all the fun things we wanted - hiking, kayaking, & boating. Close to everything on the west shore you’d need & only A shirt 20 min drive to south or north lake. Thank you for the wonderful stay! Highly highly recommend!!

Nice cabin - nice view - nice location
Great Tahoe location and cabin! Would have been a Tahoe Blue view, but we had the fire and ash working against us the week we were there, but we managaed to do a lot of sightseeing around the entire lake and even got out on the lake one afternoon.

About the host

Host profile image
We purchased our home in 2009. We have been coming to the West Shore of Lake Tahoe for 40 years. We love to sit by the beach, hike, ski, and dig the snow off the bear box. Puzzles are an important part of every visit.

Why they chose this property

This side of the lake is peaceful, quaint with that old Tahoe feel. The location is close to all activities yet you feel away.

What makes this property unique

We love to make ice cream in the summer, watch the fireworks from our deck, get Tahoma Market sandwiches, and watch the stars from the deck.

We hope you have a great stay.
