Welcome to paradise on Marco Island! We would like to invite your family or friends to be our guests at the Somerset, one of Marco Island’s most luxurious gated beachfront condominiums. Our condo unit (Somerset 601) is located at the south end of Marco Island, and boasts the largest private beachfront on the island. Located on the 6th floor, our unit faces the Gulf of Mexico and provides unobstructed views of the beach in either direction.

This 3 bedroom condo easily converts into two bedrooms if that is all you need, just let us know. Our condo is a spacious 1673 sq. ft. that has two master suites with king and queen beds, one king bed suite, a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room, dining room, laundry room and a 253 sq. ft. lanai overlooking the entire beach. With beautiful decorations and furnishings throughout, maintaining our South Florida theme is what it’s about. There’s an ocean view from every bedroom!

The Somerset 601 includes amenities such as free wireless Internet, DVD player, TV's in each bedroom, iron and ironing board, basic toiletries and covered parking. For your convenience, linens and towels are provided for the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and beach. Please note that the 601 is a non-smoking unit.

The Somerset is a gated community that offers two large saline water swimming pools and two tennis courts. Additional amenities include a fabulous covered grilling area, Business Center, Community Room, Elevators, Private Beach Access and Covered Parking.

Marco Island is the largest of Southwest Florida's 10,000 Islands and is located on the Gulf of Mexico. It has been described as magical, mystical and alluring or just plain paradise. The island is six miles long and four miles wide and connected to the mainland by two bridges. Naples is just a short 20 minute drive. The attraction to the Island is the spectacular sunsets, white sandy beaches, tropical island ambiance, and a very casual laid back life style.

There is much to explore on Marco and the surrounding Islands. Bird watchers will love to see Ospreys, Bald Eagles, Pelicans, Egrets, and Herons. Fisherman will love the abundant Snook, Snapper, Grouper, etc. Sea turtles, dolphins, and manatees are also abundant and easy to see. So no matter what you are looking for in a sunny vacation spot you will find it here in our little corner of paradise!

Lovely condo

We have been renting this condo for a week each summer for several years and are returning again this year. It is a lovely home away from home! The unit is immaculate, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, and the views are spectacular. There are beach toys that our grandsons were thrilled with as well as beach chairs, etc. to enjoy. There is definitely not an extra charge for towels, sheets, etc., as someone falsely stated in their review of this property! The building and grounds are pristine and the staff on the premises is very friendly and accommodating. The owners of the condo are friendly and fair. The lease agreement for renters is clear and extremely reasonable. I cannot say enough good things about this unit; This is by far our favorite Marco Island spot!

They charge for using bed sheets or towels!!!

The condo is nice (except for the retina-burning red carpets in the bathroom), but after our stay there, they charged us for laundering our towels and bed sheets ($50, but supposedly they forgave us $25). For a whole week, we only used one bath towel, one hand towel, and one face cloth per person, and the sheets on the beds!!! And yet, they said that's too much laundry left for them. When I called back, it was as if I was talking to a totally different person, being interrupted and just rudely dealt with. For the amount they charge, they should not nickel and dime for using towels.

Owner's Response: This is simply a false statement, there are no charges for towels or bed sheets. In this case, a charge was passed along by the cleaning service to the renter for excessive piles of laundry that had to be done upon their departure. The cleaning company confirmed this. Our condo is a home, not a hotel and these specific renters will not be welcomed back.

Beautiful condo!

We have been staying in hotels for many years when we visit Marco Island, and we will never go back after staying in such a beautiful unit! The unit was clean and had the best views of the sunset! (We even spotted dolphins on several occasions). The kitchen was well stocked with the necessities and the unit even had beach chairs and toys to use at the beach. The complex was quiet and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We can't wait to come back!
