Historic, 3-story Row House offers spacious 3600 square feet of living space, 5 large bedrooms, a pullout sofa in the living room, two full bathrooms and a half bath on the main level. * (if you have more than 12 people in your group you can also rent the lower unit for a total accommodations of 18) .Gracious living-dining area for charming family meals and entertaining. Very nice traditional decor with hardwood floors and nicely equipped kitchen with Viking stove and all stainless steel appliances. Relaxing outdoor space and courtyard provides tranquil ambiance in the heart of DC. Private, off-street parking available.

About Allen

The redhead next to me is my wife Ana.

We have 2 daughters who are grown and are on their own ( not really, if you are a parent you know) and a 14 pound Schnoodle ( he thinks he is a giant). We have been living in the DC metro area for about 36 years and absolutely love it. Washington DC is a beautiful city, it really is and for people coming here to spend their vacations or attend conferences, weddings, funerals (The Arlington Cemetery), graduations, sight seeing, festivals etc. etc. there isn't any city that offers so much.

I manage the properties and Ana tells me what to do (!!!) We are a great team and enjoy doing what we do.

Great space in a great location!

There was plenty of room for our family of 10. It was located right near many interesting restaurants and stores. The metro was an easy walk and the kids loved the Zoo.

Great Location!

This roomy house was located in the Adams Morgan area which is full of character, great places to eat, and bars with live music. All within walking distance. (several bakeries and coffee shops too)

The house accommodated 8 of us perfectly! It was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Allen was quick to respond if we had questions. It is a 3-story so keep that in mind for older travelers.

Fun Neighborhood and House was Spacious

Adams Morgan is a fun neighborhood to be within walking distance. The location was great! If you don't mind a house that feels in need of some repair and updates, it's perfect! The space is nice and allowed our group to spread out.

Lots of room in hip neighborhood

Property has lots of character, and is well suited for large parties. Location is terrific if you enjoy easy access to a wide variety of food and drink. Note bedrooms with king beds face busy street, and street noise will disrupt light sleepers both early (commuters) and late (bar crowds). Fire station less than one block away is sure to disrupt too. Seemed as if sirens were in background all the time. Parking is a challenge. The property only has one parking spot, and it's small. Our minivan barely fit. We had two vehicles to accommodate our large party, and ended up parking the second vehicle in a parking garage about 3 blocks away at $30 a day. Nearly all street parking near the house is permitted, and therefore reserved. Third floor bathroom needs deep cleaning (mold under tile sealant). Overall, property worked just fine for us.

Perfect!

Our group consisted of six men on our annual boys trip. We each had our own very satisfactory sleeping arrangements. There was plenty of room for us to get our own space or congregate for conversation/poker. The neighborhood is beautiful and convenient, with numerous bars and restaurants within a five minute walk. It is a short and inexpensive cab or Uber trip to all the major DC sites. We didn't meet our host, but he provided everything that we required for our stay, including convenient access to the property. I highly recommend this place and would stay again in a heartbeat!
