1500 sqft. 2 bedrom, 2 bath home Hot tub & pool on 2.25 acres
I am a military brat that was born in Okinawa. I grew up in Fayetteville and went to school here as well. I lived in Houston and worked in construction and real estate but I just had to come 'home' to the beautiful Ozarks and Fayetteville. I have two beautiful kids and live near by..
Patricia purchased this House in 2011
Why Patricia chose Elkins
This house Is very old and it was about to be sold to a developer that wanted to destroy the old log home. I simply could not let that happen so I purchase it and renovated it to a point. I have provided a book at the property for visitors to peruse if they wish. It has a long history to tell.
What makes this House unique
Save history AND the property. It is wonderful to sit on the back deck and smell the fresh air, and watch the birds and have a yard large enough to enjoy. It is close to all activities in the area but not to close. Those of you that like to travel with you dog or cat bring them on. The big backyard is a perfect spot for them to get a little 'playtime' in, We have bags in the house to put your 'pooper Scooper' stuff in. The evenings are quiet and the air is fresh and you just have to sit back on the deck or by the fire pit and take a deep breath...you are now officially in heaven...OK, maybe a little over stated but good land, I feel that way.

This has been a wonderful place to stay. Owner has been amazing and easily reachable. The house was clean and well stocked. The pool and hot tub are an amazing feature. Only positive things to say about our stay. I would highly recommend this home!
Cozy & comfortable!!
Great home with cool history! Patricia was a wonderful and gracious hostess! Home was clean and comfortable.
Clean, historic farmhouse, beautifully decorate, and fully loaded with everything you need!
The property had everything you needed from the kitchen to the bathroom and laundry room! The outdoor jacuzzi was clean and the perfect temperature. The property owner was very accommodating and easily accessible. My family and I were able to rejuvenate ourselves while soaking in the natural beauty of Arkansas. We definitely recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a quick getaway from the city.
Real home away from home.
This has been our second stay in the home. We had to come up for a funeral. As always the property was immaculate and very homey. It is a home not a house and that is the feeling we get when we stay. Would love to rent it when we have our next trip. My daughter came with us this time and she was in love with the antiques, and very comfortable atmosphere.
Close, clean and quaint. Loved it!!!
The place was awesome and a wonderful stay! Incredible history and such a wonderful host! Very clean, comfortable and well prepared for guests to enjoy the stay. Plenty to do (volleyball, wood loaded fire pit, BBQ grill, beautiful backyard, clean hot tub and pool). Furnishings were amazingly beautiful and unique. Bed was comfortable. Host even provided soap made from dairy goats as an added customized treat in addition to Milk and Orange Juice in the refrigerator. Close enough to Fayetteville and at the same time, a great get away from the busy-ness. We loved this place and would stay here again! Highly recommended.
