Big house in the upper garden, small house in the lower garden.
We are two artists / designers who love to build exotic houses. Bali has been our home for years. We have a passion for the Indonesian language, Bali craft, local legends and Balinese social traditions. We love the creativity and vitality of the Balinese.
Why Zenny chose Ubud
We love the location and the garden. Our houses were lovingly constructed from old teak, carved walls, doors and windows. Carving everywhere. Far from roads, near to local restaurants, yoga studio, spas. Our houses are part of the "Bali Style" tradition that started in the 1960s. It is a great joy to leave the West and live in Bali style, with open airy rooms, natural ventilation, interior rooms flowing out through floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, onto large covered verandas and down into tropical gardens. We will send you a Guide to Local Adventure to help you plan excursions. Adventures include the Elephant Park, Bird Park, the Zoo, scuba and snorkeling, cycling, rafting, paragliding, dolphin watch, cooking school, yoga, spas, and restaurants. Our taxi driver is a registered tour guide, who can take you on wonderful trips.
What makes this House unique
Far enough from the road to avoid traffic noise, yet close to local restaurants and Ubud center. A one minute walk to an excellent organic cafe, a famous yoga studio, and a place to get massages. We love The Villa's mosaics, cascading waterfalls, lotus and fish ponds, and carved fountains. Our Balinese gardener is a wonder, blending plant colors and textures into an exotic tropical garden. Our staff are exceptionally friendly, smiling, happy and helpful. Great exercise for those who like to walk hills and climb steps, because Bali is built on hills and terraced rice fields. Very good for children who know how to look after themselves exploring the garden's fish ponds, raised verandas and swimming pool. Not suitable for very young children. SHOPPING AND COOKING Most guests enjoy going out to the many inexpensive local restaurants. If you want the staff to cook for you, here is how it works. On the day of your arrival, we recommend that you eat at the good restaurants a few minutes walk up the path. After that, the staff will shop for you. The way it works: You give the staff money to buy the ingredients. This stocks your fridge for meals that you want to cook yourself, or for meals that you want the staff to prepare. If you want to cook for yourself, be sure to have the staff show you how the stove and oven work. Our staff can cook the ingredients they bought for you. They can prepare breakfast plus one other meal a day, either lunch or dinner. The staff cook in a range of styles: traditional Balinese, Western, vegetarian, vegan. The staff are busy with their other work, but they do have time to prepare two meals a day for you. The charges to prepare meals from the ingredients you purchased: Breakfast, Lunch: prepare and served. Dinner: left in the kitchen but staff do not stay late to serve. Rp 30,000 per person per meal, paid directly to the staff.

Favorite stay in Bali!
This villa is absolutely perfect in every way! You are in your private oasis, it’s so full of charm & interesting details with a beautiful garden and refreshing pool to cool off. We stayed in 4 different places in Bali during our 3 week vacation and this was our absolute favorite!!
Real Bali Feeling
It isn't possible to put words to this property. This was my 4th trip to Bali. I had not returned in 10 years and it was proving difficult to find a property like I remembered back in the day. The real OLD Bali experiance.... Villa Delicious fit the bill. From the property itself to Ken the owner to Made the amazing cook/helper, to the suggested driver Mr Sire. Our stay in Ubud was sublime. My only regret was we were just a couple and didn't fully take advantage of the full scope of the property. We hope to return. Thanks Ken!
Wonderful stay in this beautiful sanctuary tucked away in the hills of Ubud. Quite and restful. Amazing carved furniture, wonderfully creative lighting. Very peaceful. Right around the corner from a fantastic cafe that serves a great breakfast, close to yoga, and shops. Welcoming and friendly owners.
Perfection in penestanan
I only had a few days in Bali and this was the PERFECT spot! It was so quiet and peaceful with just the gurgling sounds of the water flowing just off the lanai. Walking distance to Ubud but plenty of taxi stands if you don’t feel like it. The staff took care of everything I needed and were wonderful. I will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely stay.
so Happy that you enjoyed our home.....you are welcome back any time.......it is a joy to have appreciative visitors share our beautiful home and Balinese family who look after us there.
Review of Casa by an artist
I love the spacious ramble of this house and garden, moving from indoors to outdoors. I like looking at the fish in the lotus ponds, cooling off in the pool, lounging in the sitting spots, eating on the veranda, sleeping in the big master bed room, waking to the volcanoes and rice fields. The house is full of art: paintings, old statues, marble floors, mosaic walls, carved wood, old Javanese furniture. And to make it all perfect, the staff made me laugh, looked after me to perfection.
