Gorgeous unobstructed Gulf views from the 2nd floor at Summerspell. This 2nd floor unit offers one of the very few corner balconies in the building that over looks the pool.
It just doesn't get any better than this! Sit on your balcony and take in the view of the beach and the sound of the waves. This particular unit offers amazing views all the way down the beach and has an beautiful sunset view in the evening. We have just recently updated this unit with a new A/C system, and new stove. The unit offers the coziness of home but the cool relaxing colors Florida. Master Bedroom offers a king size Posturepedic bed, built-in bunk beds; this unit can sleep 4 comfortably. We now have Wireless Internet!!!
Summerspell is a perennial favorite along Scenic Highway 98 and is a low rise Condo beachside complex with a max of 30 units. It is an excellent choice for small families and couples looking for a beach retreat without paying gulf front prices. Step out your front door, across the scenic Hwy Crosswalk and you are at the BEACH!
Amenities include: Seasonal Heated pool, Outdoor Whirlpool Spa, BBQ grilling area, and onsite laundry facilities. Pompano Joe's world famous gulf-front restaurant is located across from this complex. Dining, entertainment, fishing, golfing, bike/scooter rentals and much more is all within a short distance of Summerspell.

Property Manager failed to respond to concerns

Area is great. Building not so much. Upon first entering the condo there is a musty odor, that never went away. The bathroom exhaust fan is almost completely covered in dust. A toothpick laying on the floor. On the second night, a cockroach scared the crap out of me, I wasn’t quick enough to kill it. It ran into a closet. I alerted the property manager that evening of some of the issues. No response was ever given.

Great Condo/Noisy guests

We have stayed at Summer Spell many times in the past. We love the location and affordability being just across the service road from the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico. While the condo was perfect, clean and well stocked, we were not pleased with the amount of noise in the complex. There were kids everywhere, out in the pool and hot tub until almost midnight and one night until 2am!! Whoever was above us on the third floor was jumping and banging all night long. Not what we are used to at Summer Spell. But again, to reiterate, the condo was great! The only complaint was a very uncomfortable couch. Great condo for the money! Thanks to the owners.

Exceptional!!

I cannot say enough good things about this condo! I am a stickler for cleanliness and decor and this place does not disappoint. Right down to the great beach chairs (Tommy Bahama) the umbrella for shade on the beach and such a short walk to the beach!! The king sized bed was very comfortable, the furniture over all was clean of stains etc so I felt like I could actually relax while sitting on the couch. The location could not have been better and the parking and no elevators to wait on was an added bonus!! This condo “felt” new to the VRBO site and we would highly recommend it and will plan to stay again in the future. This is a 5 star rental. Danny & Kim R

Great family getaway

This condo was perfect for our family of 4 (2 little ones, 3 and under). Location was perfect, short walk to the beach, and Pompano Joe's, where we grabbed dinner most nights, just so we didn't have to get in the car with the kids. The pool was right below our balcony which was very convenient as well. Overall great stay!

Great place

We stayed in this condo for 4 nights and loved it. The location is perfect, you are about as close as you can get to the beach without being right on it. It is right across the street from a free public beach. We went during a very busy time, but I never felt like the beach was too crowded. The room included 4 beach chairs and an umbrella that we used everyday. There were also some beach toys that our little girl used. The pool was also nice, we used it every night.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION .
We are locals and have lived here since the early 1980's. We have seen a lot of growth and believe there is no better place to be or better place to vacation. We are a family of 5 and have purchased Gulf Winds #16 and Summer Spell unit 203 because of their location of being on Scenic Hwy 98 and offers easy access to the beach for my kids.

Why they chose this property

We choose to purchase this condo along the beach because we feel this is the best place to come and get away from our very busy life. We live just minutes away but don' t see any reason to travel to any other beaches when we have the Best Beaches in the world at our fingertips! Why go anywhere else.
Our condo is just steps from the beach, and easy accesses to Pompano Joes for lunch or dinner (on the Travel Channel)

What makes this property unique

Its all about the view!...The Gulf View is amazing!
The kids love the pool and easy walk to the beach. I love that i can sit on the balcony and watch the kids at the pool and still have a great view of the beach! Abby (our Minnie Schnauze and bulldog) love to people and dog watch from the balcony! Gulf Front View for a Gulf View Price!
