What makes this condo unique

Being midway between the north (Hanalei) and south (Poipu) shores of Kauai makes this location the perfect stepping-off point for all of the tourist attractions on the island. Few properties on Kauai provide the unobstructed, and private, ocean view that this unit provides - and certainly not in this price range!

The town of Wailua, and nearby Kapaa, provide visitors with all the conveniences you may need, many of which are within walking distance of the Wailua Bay View Apartments.

Notes:
The Coconut Grove Market place is just a short walk away and features shops, restaurants, bars and free Hula Dancing shows. An organic farmers market is help in the parking lot of the Coconut Market place as well. Check for dates and times of the Hula Dancing and Farmers Market. There is a smaller marketplace right accross the road featuring a bakery, coffee shop, taqueria and more. The nearby Wailua River is the starting point of numerous hiking, kayak and guided boat tours of the famous Fern Grotto and Hidden Falls. Smith's Tropical Paradise Luau is also located on the Wailua River and is our personal favorite authentic Hawaiian Luau experience! (We're not on commision!)

Amazing!

I’ve been to this island many times, stayed in countless condos including others within this building, and this is by far the BEST and we will certainly be returning!

Unbelievable views, fully stocked condo, updated furnishings, & air conditioning! What more can you ask for? How about a spotless tiled pool & lounge area, convenient beach access, plenty of free parking, and a jaw dropping view of the Sleeping Giant mountain range out the front door? The kitchen was amply stocked with most spices and condiments which is a huge plus for in condo cooking without spending a fortune. Also every small appliance you might need; toaster, blender, tea maker, rice cooker, programmable coffee maker, and even an espresso machine! Another fabulous addition which I’ve never encountered during my 18 trips here was a FUNCTIONING water filtration system & working ice machine in the fridge! Anyone who’s been to the island knows how harsh the salty air is on electronics & metal, so this was a real treat, and it shows the extra care & diligence given to the upkeep of this rental.

The owner Shayne is incredibly accommodating, fair, and eager to amend any unforeseen cucumstances as soon as notified. His housekeeper/manager is a marvelous woman & native Kauaiian named Marvis who is always available & will stop by to spread her Aloha & assure your comfort & needs are met. She does an amazing job with the condo’s upkeep & has a wealth of local knowledge that she’s willing to share.

Thank you Shayne & Marvis for an amazing 18 days and allowing us to use your beautiful condo. Your insistence on customer satisfaction is a rare find these days & it has not gone unnoticed. Mahalo

Excellent place. Reasonable price.

The apartment was very clean and well equipped. AC in the bedroom was a life saver. Amazing view of the ocean from the balcony. Great location on the island, which gets you away from the big resort areas on the north and south ends and keeps you centrally located for whatever you have planned.

The entire property and pool were extremely well maintained. We hope to make it back to Kauai someday, and this will be the first place we look to stay. The owner was also very friendly and easy to contact with any questions.

Outstanding value, great owner, will visit again!

Shayne was easy to work with. Marvis was very helpful when we first got in, and interesting to talk to with local history and current Kauai events. Outstanding price considering the view. It was very helpful that past guests left some kitchen staples. We stayed at another ocean front condo later in Maui. 209 was better equipped and decorated, at a lower price. We hope to visit again soon!

Perfection!

We are leaving Kauai today and these beautiful accommodations are making it that much harder! This condo is literally sitting on the ocean. The view is spectacular. To hear the sound of the waves all day long is exactly what we wanted. Great living room/kitchen set-up. It has everything you need. Even Bravo on cable which was an added bonus for me! Loved sitting on the balcony watching the fisherman and surfers. The bedroom is the only place there is ac but that wasn't a big deal. Lots of air flowing through with the fan and the ocean breeze. Washer and dryer was a huge plus. It was so nice to have the sand mats, cooler, beach towels, chairs, umbrella, etc. You basically just show up here and you're ready to enjoy paradise. Great location to get to north, south and west shores. Also great spot for walking to some good restaurants. Thanks for a wonderful time. Can't wait to come back!

Absolutely Breath Taking

We had the best time at Shayne's Condo. Sitting on the lanai every morning catching up on work was so relaxing & at night listening to the ocean. Everything we needed was there. Nightly swims in the pool. We are sad we had to leave. Thanks so much for letting us in on your little piece of heaven.
