|Minimum Stay||2 - 3 nights|
Sit on the huge oceanfront corner balcony at Oceania 405 watching the waves roll in and feel a deep contentment! Located on the 4th floor in a premier gated resort with 2 elevators, garage parking, pool, spa, WiFi & fitness center. Very close to Mayo Clinic. You will love every minute of your time at our luxurious condo in a premier gated resort.
Our 4th floor end-unit condo offers views from two sides on our enormous deck, which runs along the outside of both the living room and the master bedroom. Outfitted with casual seating, it is breezy and beautiful, with spectacular views of the sunrise, the dunes, the beach, and the wide blue sea. Each time you step out onto the deck, you will be amazed all over again!
The inside of the condo is almost as exciting as the outside. Soaring 10-foot ceilings with crown molding, a split-bedroom floorplan, tile floors, granite countertops, a chef's kitchen, a whirlpool bathtub -- the luxuries just keep coming! You may feel as though you've stepped into the pages of a high-fashion magazine . . . except that everything is ultra-comfortable and easy, so you feel right at home in all the splendor.
Our open-plan living and dining area feels breezy and light, with seafoam walls, sunwashed tile flooring, and cool white leather couches (one of which converts to a bed for 2). The giant LCD TV with DVD player stands ready to play all your favorite movies or broadcast the big game, and in this huge room, the whole gang can watch it in style!
The dining area is bright and comfy, with padded chairs and good light -- and that's great, because it usually morphs into a computer table or game center, since no one can resist dining al fresco on the deck. With the ocean and horizon clearly visible beyond the living room, though, it's a pretty choice vantage point, whether you're updating your Facebook status ("Living the good life in Jacksonville Beach!"), playing a quick game of dominoes, or admiring the treasures you found on the latest shopping expedition.
You are going to love the kitchen at Oceania 405. Even if you're planning on dining out this vacation, consider preparing at least one homemade meal just for the pleasure of using this brand-new chef's kitchen! Fitted with gleaming white appliances and all the cookware, dishes, and utensils you need to prepare a feast, this kitchen is a joy to use. Ice and water in the freezer door keep the kids from opening the fridge all day long, while the microwave, dishwasher, blender, coffeemaker, and other time-savers get everyone out of the kitchen and back in the fun much quicker!
The master suite is huge, beautiful, and absolutely sumptuous. The king-size bed will give you the best night's sleep of your life, especially when combined with a little fresh air and moonlight. The deck overlooking the ocean is accessible through the sliding glass doors in this room, making it truly private. Leave the drapes open and count the stars from the comfort of your bed, then awaken to the bright streaks of dawn in the sky. (Or not. There's a lot to be said for closing those drapes and sleeping in, too!) You'll be lulled to sleep by the murmur of the surf . . . or if not, by staying up late to watch shows on the big LCD TV!
The master bathroom is spacious as well, with a deep jetted tub and separate walk-in tiled shower.
The second bedroom is large and airy as well, with a queen-size bed, big windows, and an LCD TV. The third bedroom offers 2 twin beds and yet another LCD TV. Both rooms are convenient to the second and third full bathrooms at Oceania 405, so there's no waiting in line in the morning. And all of the linens and towels you need are provided for you here at our condo. Need to run a quick load of towels or freshen up the swimsuits? Use the washer and dryer in our laundry room!
Oceania 405 is located in a gated oceanfront building with 2 elevators, underground parking, a garage for your bicycles and surfboards, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a beachfront swimming pool, bubbly Jacuzzi, sauna, and
Hi! My name is Steve Milo and I started Vacation Rental Pros in 2006. Our family stays in vacation rental homes whenever we travel, both domestically and abroad! I own several vacation homes and listen carefully to all our guests' feedback. Our greatest compliment is when folks refer Vacation Rental Pros to their friends and relatives. We now manage over 1,800 properties in Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina. We have homes in Ft. Myers Beach, Orlando, St. Augustine Beach, Daytona Beach, Palm Coast, Ponte Vedra Beach, Hilton Head and Gatlinburg. We booked over 15,000 rentals and received over 5,000 guest reviews in 2016. Please call if you need help booking your dream vacation!
The condo is very nice with an excellent view. We stayed during Thanksgiving week. There were six adults, and the size was perfect for that. I would recommend that the owners buy some steak knives and cutting knives. There was one dull paring knife and one serrated bread knife. That made it a little difficult to do much cooking and eating in. Also, the kitchen sink leaked really bad. We didn't realize it until Wednesday and reported it right away. I realize it was a holiday, but the sink was not fixed during our stay. Overall, the kitchen could use some work. The rest of the condo was excellent.
The property is extremely nice--gated access, secure parking, secure building. Views are fantastic and the place was very comfortable. Beds were great and furnishings were quite nice. I would definitely come here again. We had all the amenities we needed and the East Coast Rental (1 block away) was great to put out beach chairs and umbrellas with just a quick phone call. The porch off the master and the den was fabulous. Lots of shopping and restaurants close. I can't say enough about the location. Listing was accurate and place was clean albeit floors could have been a little cleaner!
Just a couple of "wishes" from this property. We had 3 cars which were allowed with the rental, but only 2 key fobs to get into the gate and into the building. We kept having to go downstairs to let someone in whether it be in a car or from the beach. Also picking up the key in Ponte Vedra wasn't too bad, but when you have a 7am flight the morning you leave, it is a pain to have to backtrack to take the keys back to the rental office. Would have been so much nicer to have had a key drop OR have given us a temporary code to get in on the key panel. (This would have also alleviated us having to run down to let someone else in.) We didn't have anyone sleeping on the couch, but the sun comes in so bright in the early morning and there are no drapes to close. Small items in comparison to the great time we had! Thanks.
Overall me and my family had a very good time most of the time we just enjoyed the views of the ocean especially during the sunrise and sunsets.
We starting calling from the first night there with problems, missing light bulbs, slow drain tub, constant drip in master tub, we checked in on a Saturday and the plumbing issues weren't even addressed until Thursday. Then our AC was cut off due to the A/C unit leaking into the unit below and we had an 13 month old baby, but this is the one thing that was rectified in a timely manner. We were so tired of all the inconvenience that we decided to leave on Thursday, to which no avail encountered a problem with the kitchen sink. We feel that we should be reimbursed something but we see you care more about money than you do keeping your clients happy. Needless to say. We will never return to Jacksonville and if we do, we will never use the property management company to find a property. The only thing this property had going for it, was location.
This was our 3rd stay at Oceania - it is the perfect property and location to kick back and relax or explore Jacksonville. Just a few minutes away from Atlantic Beach Town Center, lots of great places to eat and miles of non-commercialized beaches to walk. The St. Johns Town Center is close also. No matter what you're wanting to do - Oceania is a great location to set up as your base camp or just hang out on the balcony to watch the ocean waves. Thank you for another great stay!!
