Detached villa overlooking the bay of Villefranche. Belle Epoque style built in 1890 . Stunning views with a sunny disposition on a quiet road. The villa has been totally restored with no expense spared and is fitted out to the highest standard. Situated very close to the village . It is a 90 metre walk to the beach and seafront restaurants are a 3 minute walk. The train is a short walk . This is one of the best villas on the whole coast as it is in a quiet location with world class views.

Villefranche sur Mer is an ancient medieval village with very small streets. Situated near Nice and Cap Ferrat right in the heart of the Cote d'Azur, it is considered by many as the most beautiful village in France. The Port, the Old Town and the citadel all date back to 130 BC . Rue Obscure is a street unchanged for the last 600 years. The house is ideal for children as it is very safe and has a playground in the side garden with swings, slide etc.

Villefranche beachfront: Villefranche is situated between Monaco (Monte Carlo) and Nice ... This is considered the best part of the Cote d'Azur. The villa is also a 3 minute drive to Cap Ferrat or Beaulieu. The station is a 2 minute walk from the villa and the train travels all along the coast to Italy or back to San Tropez. Village of Villefranche sur Mer : The port can be reached with a 4 minute walk along lane way so it is safe for children. The villa faces south so gets the sun all day..... hence the name Villa Soleia !

We are now in Paris and everybody here in the family is missing the wonderful stay in Villefranche .

We would like to thank you . All the information , definition and pictures , regarding the house , the place , were the real truth and according what you said .

The house was perfect for our group , every room , and the facilities worked in the proper way .

In addition , the weather was perfect ( considering the season ) . No rain , good temperature , we were able to swim in the ocean .

We visited all the historic and nice areas and enjoyed every minute .

Gaston was always available , and for statying a week we think we didn't create many problems .

Hope he was happy the way we returned the house .

We'll keep always in our hearts Villa Soleia as the beginning of my first 70 years .

All appliances are top of the range. General security as follows : Alarm with camera monitoring which can be switched off. Safe room. Car post in garage, Pool security gate for children, rail + mesh around playground. There is a back garden with fruit trees. The side garden is a lawn and the front is a patio with pool below. Steps lead down to the garage with electric gate. Air Conditioning in bedrooms although not required as the villa is nearly on the sea. Extra parking for second car outside garage. The port can be walked in 4 minutes without crossing any busy roads. Owner also has villa next door which sleeps 10 so a large group can be accommodated.... see # 2877 You will be completely looked after by the 4 staff and any extra item can be organised for you..... Boat hire, dinner party, shopping, driver, cook, nanny, maid, doctor , airport collection etc. English speaking manager.

One of the best places to stay in South of France!

This is a fantastic property! We rented Villa Soleia along with neighboring Villa Oursinade (same owner). We took 21 friends and family and to a person we had a wonderful time. The villas are well located, with incredible views, in a beautiful little village, with great access to public transportation. We used Villa Soleia as a focal point for our entire holiday with afternoons by the pool, cocktail hours, and all around socializing. We had three formal-ish dinners at Soleia and they turned out great. With that many people, you are typically into buffets, so depending on the course, we set food up on the front patio, dining room, and even the back patio. The common areas are great. Formal living room is a great place to relax. We used the dining room as an office by day (great Wifi here) and dining room at night. The kitchen worked great as well. We would definitely go back, and hope to in the next few years. If you are interested in this area, you should be interested in this villa.

Spectacular villa

We’ve visited Villefranche sur mer 5 times now and stayed at Villa Soleia twice. This is a magical village and a spectacular villa. The villa is very well kept, well-furnished and equipped and well managed. You and your friends or family will have a spectacular trip staying here. Both times we’ve stayed we’ve had 12 people and there is plenty of room for all very comfortably. The 4 main house bedrooms are all ensuite and all have full on amazing sea views. They are all very private and comfortable. The nanny’s house beside the main house is a two story loft with a small living room and full bath on the main floor and the double bed up the spiral stairs. Open the windows and you have the same amazing views for about 90 degrees. Extremely private and provides your own living space to relax on your own but close enough to the main house to be part of everything. The separate apartment is located up a flight of stairs in the back part of the property. It is behind the house next door and is blocked from having the view, however, stepping 3 feet out of the apartment provides you about 70 degree sea view and 1 flight of stairs and 10 steps takes you to the main house terrace with full on view! This apartment is a 1 bedroom, 1 full bath, living room and full kitchen.

I cannot say enough about the view and the swimming pool. Both are outstanding. Oh, and there is a great roof top where you can have drinks and enjoy the sunset. You will end up spending your afternoons lounging in the large pool and gazing at the Mediterranean and spending your evenings on the terrace overlooking the incredible village and sea view. If you choose to venture away from this great property, it is an easy thing to do. Villefranche is a leisurely walk into the village where there are many great restaurants and shops. The walk home is an easy grade slightly up hill but be ready for the steps at the villa. It’s all worth it! The train station is super close and do not worry about the trains. They are quiet. You can get to anywhere along the coast for the day or a night out. There are 3 bus stops in Villefranche and one is just about straight up from the villa. Extremely doable but not easy. Do not do it with luggage.

So much to offer in this area and this is the place to stay!

The villa is located 7 kilometers from Nice and is on the sea beside Cap Ferrat and Beaulieu sur Mer. It is central and convenient..... only 90 metres from the beach or train station and a 4 minute walk to the port. Ideal for children. A car is not necessary except for heavy grocery shopping. Monte Carlo is a 15 minute drive. This is probably the best part of the Cote D'Azur . Villefranche is a historic village and the Old Town is very unusual with streets only 2 metres wide in places.
