My husband and I stayed the month of March 2014 at this rental. The home is very nice and in a nice quiet area and a short walk to downtown. As the previous renter wrote, the garden area needed to be tidied up to make it more inviting. There was a small microwave which worked fine but seemed somewhat out of place with the rest of the design of the kitchen. Wireless internet was available for our use. The one issue that was disappointing to us is that we arrived on March 1st and on March 3rd contacted the management company to reserve the month of March 2015 since we liked the home and the area. We were told that a rental agreement would be sent and the month would be reserved for us. As of April 3rd we had still not received the rental agreement so after several conversations via phone, email & text requiring the rental agreement we find out that the rental for March 2015 had been reserved for someone else while we were waiting to receive the rental agreement which we never received. As I understand there had been some changes in management & follow-ups on our reservation were never done. My suggestion for anyone wanting to reserve this rental have the management person attach the rental agreement to an email versus sending it through the mail so there is no time delay in receiving it and avoid the issue we encountered.
Nicely appointed home in very good location near downtown Mt. Dora within walking distance as well as Gilbert Park & Lake Dora. The home actually has 3 bathrooms as incorrectly listed (2) and the few photos provided really do not do the home justice as noted to management on booking in August, 2013 for our December, 2013 week stay. There were a few issues such as poor yard/patio maintenance and no internet router for our wireless internet needs during stay as well as nonfunctional custom built-in microwave in kitchen with smaller counter unit provided. Mt. Dora is a lovely old lakeside town with many interesting shops and restaurants to be found.
