Walk 600' to Beach, Slp 10, Wi-Fi, Tidal Cr, perfect for family

Gorgeous Beach House, short walk to the Beach, 4BR/2Bth, Sleeps 10, I built the house in 1997, it has beautiful heart pine flooring, tile bth floors, spacious, clean, outside shower, fish cl station, bench swing, hammock, screened in porch, rocking chairs. Smart Tvs and 60" in great room. Great romantic getaway and perfect for wedding or shower events. On a dead end street which makes traffic limited and very SAFE for children. Lots of yard for playing and poured concrete driveway for riding bikes.

Tidal creek in the back yard with crab, shrimp and fish. Casting a net is lots of fun and crabbing.

Peaceful place to get away and let your mind and body rest with no distractions. Lay in the hammock and let the sea breeze put you to sleep.

Good location
We stayed here for a long weekend for spring break. The location is good to walk to the beach and a quick drive to the little shops and restaurants on the island. We enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely LOVED! We will be back!
This house is WAY better than even the listing makes it out to be! The entire property was SPOTLESS! Impeccable communication with the owner and we LOVED the location and backyard! My kids loved fishing in the creek and climbing the small oak tree! The beds are amazingly comfortable and the living room and kitchen were spacious enough for us to have a fantastic Thanksgiving feast! The 3 minute walk to the beach is beautiful and you can hear waves from the front porch! We cannot WAIT to come back!

My wife Susan and I built this home in 1997. We live in Augusta Georgia which is only 150 mi away and went to Edisto for the easy access to offshore fishing which we love to do.
We now have 2 beautiful children, which our interest have changed some, and now we simply enjoy the family time with friends there.

Why they chose this property

We love hosting families and entertaining. We hope you will find that this home is well stocked kitchen and clean. Please let us know if you have suggestions for improving hospitality or improving the comfort of our beach house.

What makes this property unique

Collecting shark teeth on the beach and biking on the island trails and parks. Also the fishing and crabbing. One of the best things to enjoy is learning about the turtles on this island. Turtles lay eggs May-June. Many hatchlings have been spotted on the front beach around Late August - Oct. It is a glorious site if you are lucky enough to be on the beach when a nest hatches!
