Pinetree Chalet provides the perfect 'home base' for groups in Whistler. Kick back, relax & make yourself at home. Our large craftsman kitchen is exceptionally well equipped for multiple cooks.

We call our home Pinetree Chalet - all of the bedrooms are named after... North American PINE TREE species. There are two HUGE "cabin-sized" upstairs bedrooms, each with five or six separate beds - great for "guys & girls" rooms, or each one can accommodate a family. Two cozy bunk rooms are on the main.

LOCATION:
Whistler's Emerald Estates subdivision is peaceful and central to Whistler's abundance of year-round activities. We're four miles from the action of Whistler Village. Hike, ski, golf, swim, boat, skate, horse ride, river raft, zipline... your choices are practically endless! Green Lake is a short walk from the chalet that offers boating and water sports in the warmer seasons, and skating, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing when frozen.

LIVING SPACE:
From your well equipped kitchen with bar-style island, to the dining area overlooking the large sunken living room... the open-style flow is perfect for hanging out together - with just enough separation. The living room has comfy leather couches and additional bench seating for relaxing after a day in the great outdoors.

Stone, massive beams, granite, wrought iron, wood, leather and lodge quilts will remind you you've left the city behind.

IS PINETREE CHALET SUITABLE FOR YOUR GROUP?
• Dining table seats 10 (with bench seating for flexibility); adjacent kitchen island has 5 stools. Seats a total of 15 in comfort at mealtimes.
• Living room has 2x love seats, 3-seat couch, 2 armchairs. Additional bench seating in the living room. The living room can accommodate 15+ people
• Our 15 separate beds all have premium bedding.
• 7 xl-twin high density mats are additionally available for use in the large rooms (only for select groups). Mats are comfortable for adults and include bedding.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:
At bedtime the Tamarack and Monterey huge upstairs master bedrooms are EACH capable of sleeping a large family or a group of friends of up to 5 or 6 people in separate beds.

Loblolly and Douglas Pine bedrooms are cozy bedrooms on the main floor with hardwood bunk beds.

Beds have a featherbed, memory foam topper and/or New Zealand wool pads and premium bedding for a deep, restful sleep.

Washrooms: each upstairs large bedroom has an ensuite washroom with shower. A 3-room washroom on the main floor includes a sauna and shower with massage jets.

INCLUDED:
Private off-street parking is available for 4-5 vehicles (depending on snowfall), foyer with hanging storage for 17 pairs of skis plus heated boot storage. The large, gently sloping lot is encircled by trees for privacy. We use exterior security cameras.

Beautiful and peaceful chalet with space for everyone

We had a family reunion in Whistler and this place was a great fit. We had toddlers playing in the living room while parents chatted or cooked in the kitchen. There is a lot of room here for pack'n'plays, extra mattresses and toys. The kitchen is very efficient with lots of seating for our whole group at a big family square table. I would highly recommend this for any kind of family-oriented get together in Whistler. The staff are super-friendly and very accommodating.

Perfect for Retreat

16 ladies stayed at the chalet this May 2016 and were quite pleased with the location and the overall set up of the chalet . It presented as a unique ski style chalet with the charm of a wood cabin . Very accommodating hosts ! Thanks !

A great stay!

We had 20 adults all staying here for an outdoor adventure and it couldn't have gone smoother! The owners were very helpful, the location was great and the house had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a big group headed to Whistler.

Friends Weekend Trip

We had 9 adults and 7 children (all ages 4 and under) staying here. The place was great for all of us. The website is excellent in providing all the information. The property was clean and well-maintained. The owner, Virgiinia, is excellent and very helpful. She responds to your emails really quick and tries to do everything she can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The parking area can fit up to 4 cars which was perfect for us. This place is close to Whistler (about 10 minutes drive). The 2 master bedrooms are huge and spacious. The living room can well accommdate 12 people comfortably. It was a nice cozy living room for friends to gather around and talk. I would definitely come back here again!!!

We purchased the chalet as an activity-filled home base for our large and extended family to vacation at. Over the years we've rented it periodically to select rentals when our family is not enjoying the property. Our vacation property is truly managed by the owners, going back to VRBO roots.

We love to welcome people looking to explore the beauty of Whistler and take part in the many activities around the area. We think the peaceful area of Emerald Estates is the perfect home-base to take it all in.

Our home that we call Pinetree Chalet... from the chef's kitchen, spacious gathering areas, furniture and finishing touches... reflect what we consider to be an ideal mountain getaway atmosphere. And we're constantly planning new projects to make it the best possible home base in Whistler.

We focus on and look forward to each group that calls Pinetree Chalet home. We hope you enjoy it!

Why they chose this property

We love Emerald Estates! It is a beautiful 7-minute drive from the action of Whistler Village and yet the neighborhood is so peaceful - it's the best of both worlds. As we drive along and see scenic Green Lake on the right we just give a big sigh and life's problems just seem to melt away.

What makes this property unique

The layout of the rooms and furniture offer so much flexibility:

- Tamarack and Monterey rooms - our two huge "cabin-sized" bedrooms can EACH accommodate five or six singles or a family. OR, they make spacious couples' rooms, with sitting areas.

- Douglas Pine and Loblolly - our two main floor bunk rooms offer additional sleeping for adults or kids in a separate area.

- The house has 15 separate beds. Mats are available for additional sleeping, if needed (only for select groups).

- The dining area has benches for flexible seating, plus additional seating at the kitchen island.

- The Living room has lots of leather seating. Benches allow for additional space when needed.

- The house is within walking distance to beautiful Green Lake (also the only lake in Whistler that allows motor watercraft). There is a private park with play area nearby, and a beautiful 20-minute 'loop walk' with interesting houses. Other little-known walks in the area.
