About Steve Ferrante
Local business attorney, recently returned to Colorado after spending 12 years in Chile. Speaks French, Spanish and Portuguese (working on Italian). Returned to Colorado for the clean mountain air. Absolutely loves the Town of Estes Park. I missed the Rocky Mountains, after 12 years in Chile, and when I finally made it back to Colorado, I ended up in Estes Park. (God’s doing.) I love Estes Park! Especially the people here. I stay involved in many local community organizations, such as Rotary, the Estes Area Lodging Assoc., Crossroads Ministry, Estes Valley Partners for Commerce, and several others.
Steve Ferrante purchased this Apartment in 2010
Why Steve Ferrante chose Estes Park
Spectacular downtown views from the raised sun deck. The best restaurants & shopping are literally just a few steps away, including music & festivals just down the block, and there’s theatre, hiking, rock climbing, horseback riding, fishing, boating, and tons of other activities just minutes away. AND THE BEST PART, the apartment is quiet, peaceful and private!
What makes this Apartment unique
Located right downtown. Walk everywhere. No need to waste time looking for parking spaces. Great views from raised sun deck. Excellent value! Over 1,000 sq ft. of living space! Cable TV! Jetted tub! Laundry facilities! and just 7 minutes from RMNP!

We had a great stay! The house was located right in town so we enjoyed walking to the shops!
The house was very clean. Having a washer /dryer and kitchen was great! We loved being able to walk to the shops and the park was so close! Would definitely return!
Great location. Very clean. Well equipped with amenities
Great time in Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. We will definitely be back.
the Hidden Retreat
We enjoyed our stay at the Hidden Retreat. Everything was clean and available. Location is very quiet. I did not like the idea of a pink house though but it was okay. If I had one wish it would be a night light to plug in on the way to the bathroom at night. It was very dark…. The children found one DVD they enjoyed. We didn't use the TV: vacationing!

Was the listing description accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc ? Yes.
Was the property clean and well-maintained ? - Yes
Did the owner provide good customer service ? The information that was supposed to be sent prior to the date wasn't sent, but fortunately there was someone there who was able to let us in and provide the information on wifi login information and where to find extra sheets.
Would you recommend this property to your friends or relatives ? The living room was very small and not good for gathering, however, there was a patio with table and chairs and a grill that would be a great gathering spot. It was very close to town with off street parking, which is SO important if you have a car and need parking. Off street parking is hard to find. A fan for each bedroom would be nice.
What activities, attractions and restaurants did you like or dislike near by ? Estes Park is great. We were able to hang out and shop in town and spend alot of time in the Rocky Mountain National Park. The best of both worlds.

Very Comfortable and Spacious!
My wife & I were very appreciative of how spacious, clean, tastefully updated and well appointed this 2 bed, 1.5 bath apartment was! The apartment not only has a spacious kitchen with small table and counter seating, but it is sufficiently stocked with pots, pans, & utensils for 'eating in' and saying some $$$ on restaurants.
What is lacking in "mountain views" the apartment more than makes up for that in being very convenient to downtown Estes shops & restaurants, as well as easy access to both entrances to RMNP, enjoying the Big Thompson river walk, or access to the Lumpy Ridge area for hiking.
2 large flat screens, DVD players.
The full-size washer/dryer was a real plus, too!
The property manager and owner were extremely responsive and accommodating.
We were lucky enough to get to stay for four nights over 4th of July weekend and it couldn't have been better! It really provides the best of both worlds. It's literally one block into the heart of town, a very short jaunt to the grocery store, and close to an outer road that gets you into Rocky Mountain Park without the hassle of traffic. The view from the deck is gorgeous and although it's the homeowners actual deck, we had it all to ourselves every evening that we were there. We would most definitely stay there again.
Thanks for staying. It sounds like you enjoyed yourself. How can I earn that 5th star?
1 to 2-minute walk to Downtown Estes Park!!
7-minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park!!
