Plan to experience the relaxing atmosphere of Perdido Key, (the lost key), which is the western most barrier island shoreline in the State of Florida.

The sugar white sand beaches of Perdido Key have been nationally acclaimed by USA Today. They have ranked the Gulf Islands National Seashore the Number One beach on the East Coast of the US and ranked Johnson Beach Number Two of the best National Park Beaches. All of this is walking distance from Sandy Key.

Sandy Key Condominiums are located on the eastern end of the island. Sandy Key offers 800 feet of beachfront, which is among the largest beachfront of condominiums on Perdido Key.

While at Sandy Key you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the following amenities: tennis, exercise room, 2 swimming pools - one of which is heated, hot tub or just relax on the beach. Nearby you can enjoy 3 championship golf courses, 2 state parks, the Gulf National Seashore, as well as the many activities noted below. Also enjoy some of the Gulf Coast's best and freshest seafood in many local restaurants.

A few miles east is historic Pensacola and the Naval Air Station at Pensacola, home of the Blue Angels Flight Team. For many months of the year you can view their practice sessions. If you drive a few miles west you are in Orange Beach/Gulf Shores, Alabama with its many attractions. Excellent shopping exists in the many shops and boutiques along the coast and the outlet mall in Foley, Alabama has bargains to suit everyone.

Our 1200 plus square feet condo is located on the seventh floor. We have furnished the unit in a relaxed style for adults as well as children. It is ideal for one or two couples, or a couple with children. In addition the 14 foot covered balcony (among the largest on the key), has dual access from both the master bedroom and the living/dining room areas. You can watch the gulls and dolphins as you dine, or relax and enjoy the sun as it rises and sets.

Why John Tanzosch chose Perdido Key

After searching the entire Florida Panhndle Coast, ( a six hour drive from Atlanta), we settled on Sandy Key as the place to be. It is family oriented without the crowds of Destin and Panama City.

What makes this condo unique

We enjoy the peacefulness of the Gulf National Seashore which is a short walk away. To the East, Pensacola, its history, nightlife and restaurants are only 20 minutes away. To the West Orange Beach/Gulf Shores, with its amusement parks, shopping and restaurants is but a short drive. The local restaurants on Perdido Key specialize in fresh seafood and are fantastic. I enjoy surf fishing right on the beach in front of our condo unit.

Condo was great and exactly as pictured. It was well appointed and very comfortable. The sofa was fantastic. We love to cook and the kitchen lacked nothing for our needs. The view of the gulf was gorgeous. We are already making plans for returning.

We loved the condo and location!

We absolutely loved the spacious condo and location for us and our two boys (ages 8 & 3). Everything was comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. The beach and pool are so easy to access and the property is very well kept. The location is great if you want a quieter beach and still have quick access to the busier areas of Orange Beach and Pensacola. Our children loved the soft sandy beach, the pool, and having their own room and bathroom. They also loved visiting Perdido Key Playground, the Naval Aviation Museum, writing on the chalk walls at Lillian's pizza, and the family laid back atmosphere at the Shrimp Basket. Highly recommend this beautiful condo and the location. We definitely plan to stay at the same condo next year!

Sandy Key 735 = Fabulous Condo!

My family arrived to find a beautifully furnished condo with a fantastic gulf front view exactly as depicted on the web listing. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the unit from the moment we stepped in. We have stayed at many Florida beachfront condos through the years and were extremely pleased that this Sandy Key unit was even nicer than we expected. Also the owner, John, is very friendly and a pleasure to work with. My family had a wonderful time at Perdido Key. The water was crystal clear and the white sandy beach was clean and free of debris. We will definitely consider coming back for our next Florida vacation adventure! Thank you John! :-)

Absolutely Breathtaking!!!!

This was our first time renting through VRBO and we will definitely be renting again. Hopefully this same Condo! The minute we walked in I knew it was going to be fantastic. The pictures on the listing were EXACTLY what we saw. It was our home away from home. Thank you to the owners of this Condo for allowing us to stay. The view was beautiful off the balcony, the location of the Condo was convenient and just steps to the beach! The morning and evening walks on the beach were peaceful and relaxing. This was by far the best vacation we've had in years! The Condo building was extremely quiet and the atmosphere was perfect. If you want a relaxing, low-key vacation, this is your place! Thank you again.
