Description

Photos and Description of this 2 bedroom holiday chalet in Incline Village - The Tahoe Chalet

Chalet, 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

Details:

This adorable chalet is located in Incline Village which is on the desirable north shore of Lake Tahoe. Centrally located between Reno, Truckee and South Lake Tahoe. This property has been completely remodeled and offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms, granite counters, travertine, slate, and a Jacuzzi tub. The large deck is perfect for relaxing on a beautiful Tahoe day.

Incline Village has two private beaches, one with a boat launch and the other with an outdoor pool, play structures, volleyball nets, picnic tables and snack bars. The community rec center includes an indoor pool, fitness classes, tennis courts & child care facility.

Diamond Peak Ski Resort, which is a great family friendly resort with beautiful views, is within walking distance and there are several other ski resorts nearby to chose from. You can even take a shuttle bus from several different locations in town.

There are two golf courses, with club house, pro shop, bar, food, driving range and putting green.

There’s no question why Lake Tahoe is known as “America’s Year-round Playground”. Lake Tahoe offers more indoor and outdoor recreation than almost any other destination in the country. With some of world's most beautiful golf courses, hundreds of biking and hiking trails, boating, kayaking, miles of sandy beaches, casinos, fine dining, boutique shops, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and several downhill ski resorts you will never run out of things to do. With an average of 300 days of sunshine per year, this legendary destination is your best bet for enjoying the great outdoors with family and friends. The breathtaking views alone are reason enough to visit Lake Tahoe.

Wonderful stay as always!

  • 5 of 5

We always enjoy our stay at this cabin! This is our 5th time renting this cabin for ski trips, and we always look forward to returning. It's very clean and well furnished for a comfortable stay for our family of 5. We cook dinner most nights, and the kitchen is well equipped with cookware, bakeware, spices, etc. It's a quick 2-minute drive to Diamond Peak ski resort where we have season ski passes, and it's just a few more minutes away for groceries, restaurants, and the lake. Our favorite places nearby to eat are Mofo's Pizza, Azzara's for a special occasion, or Lone Eagle Grill on the lake for drinks in their cozy lounge with huge fireplace and lakefront view. The Tyrolia neighborhood is quiet and wonderful for taking a walk to see all the different Swiss chalet style homes. The owners are very accommodating and easy to work with. In this last trip, my son forgot his phone charger in the cabin, and they kindly offered to send it back to us in the mail. Thanks for opening up your cozy home for us all to enjoy! We'll certainly be back.

Perfect for us!

  • 5 of 5

We have been visiting Tahoe for many years and this home was perfect for our annual family reunion. All on one level, not too big, and so many nice features. Have never been in a rental with so many nice Dishes, glassware, etc. Away from the congestion and noise. Really enjoyed the deck in the morning especially. Want to return next year.

Home away from home!

We absolutely love this home! This was our 3rd summer staying here. We feel at home when we are here! The owners are wonderful! We love having access to the private beaches in Incline! This home has everything you need. It is clean and cozy! We stayed for 10 days and were so sad to leave! We cannot wait to return!

Wow! Great Mountain Retreat at a Reasonable Price.

  • 5 of 5

This charming Chalet is an excellent find located in a great location. Away from tourists and traffic, the Chalet is in a quaint village of similar styled mountain homes with a Swiss theme. Surrounded by tall pine trees and with nearby mountain views, you have your privacy and quiet... but can reach restaurants and shops in a short drive. The Chalet is well maintained with modern fixtures in both bathrooms and the kitchen. Wi-Fi and cable worked flawlessly. The full-sized washer and dryer came in handy after consecutive days of outdoor activities. The kitchen is fully equipped including a programmable coffee maker (waiting when you wake up!) and everything you need to prepare all three meals, including containers to store your leftovers. Highlights include the easy-to-operate gas fire place in the main living area and the grill on the deck. At nighttime, I enjoyed standing on the outdoor deck and looking up at the mountains: you can see the groomers hard at work in the distance at the nearby ski resort, and there was a full moon for two of the nights here. If visiting during the winter months, I recommend a four-wheel drive vehicle: the roads are cleared and well-maintained daily, but can become challenging during snow storms particularly in the drive up-hill into the village. I highly recommend this rental!

Excellent Location and memorable home

  • 5 of 5

We arrived in gorgeous Lake Tahoe and just allowed ourselves to revel in the beauty of this area. I cannot say enough about how clean and pristine Lake Tahoe is. I enjoyed how Incline Village does not feel touristy at all and there is something quaint about the area. Robin was a gracious homeowner and she and her husband were available whenever we had questions. The home is lovely and had all that we needed. It is spacious, clean, and cozy. There are many spices to cook with and even had inflatables for the lake. We arrived and found a bottle of Sparking Lemonade (we do not drink wine) with chocolates and popcorn. This home is in an excellent location and gave this NYC family the escape that we needed. Having access to the private beach was an extra plus. We will most certainly be back!

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while we were up there for the Trans-Tahoe relay and a concert at Harveys. The location was perfect. The listing photos are spot on and the house is so clean and comfortable. It is stocked with every dish/glass/utensil you would ever need. The owner was extremely easy to deal with and very helpful. The only bummer was that there was no wi-fi and coverage up there is spotty. I would totally recommend this property!
