Guestbook comments from the owner

"Right on the water, is literally true. The living room and outside deck of this awesome home are only a few feet from the mile-wide Manatee River and sited so you get a fabulous view of the sunset. The beds were very comfortable and the inside furnished with everything we needed for our stay. We were there for a wedding and there were only 2 of us, but a family would find plenty of room. The location made it quick and easy to get to the beach and St Arman's Circle for some great shopping. Plus there is a beautiful state park that we rode the bikes to and hiked the Indian mounds, it was awesome. We loved it and hope to return some day very soon.

Great location for boating!

  • 5 of 5

Very nice and clean house. Perfect spot for enjoying Tampa Bay from your boat. Jeff was very helpful when we had trouble with our boat. Nice and close to Emmerson point which was a great place to hike, fish, and play in the water with the dog. We will definitely stay here again!

Great time at the Snead Island Cut House

  • 4 of 5

had a wonderful month at the Cut House. Jeff was very nice, and when we had a minor problem he took care of it. The location is incredible, beautiful sunsets, constant parade of boats & dolphin & many varieties of fish, you can fish right off the dock. You feel like you are away from everything, but only 2 miles from great restaurants and just about anything you need. Close to Sarasota, St. Pete, Bradenton outlets etc.

Great location for walks, bike rides, lots of nature, so peaceful. My dogs & I walked to Emerson Pt Park numerous times. It was great to find such a wonderful place that allowed us to bring our pets & had room for our 36 ft RV. Hoping to return!

Great Place

  • 5 of 5

The fishing was easy because of the great location of the house. Local Dining was excellent, went back to the same place two nights in a row. Trying to schedule our next trip back to the Cut House.

Waterfront stay, secluded and fantastic. A+ property and owner

  • 5 of 5

We picked this property for its proximity to the Sunshine Skyway Pier. But we ended up spending most of our time right in the back yard. Boasting an incredible amount of frontage on a deepwater channel between the Manatee River and Terra Ceia Bay with gentle currents and an astonishing variety of fish and marine mammals. Nicely equipped for comfortable fishing and also for sunbathing or just lounging and enjoying the water views. Also a boater's dream. Nearby launches and endless dockage await you with effortless access to the river and bay.

Owners are very responsive and easy to work with. Can't recommend this one enough.

The Cut House is located right on the water in laid back Palmetto. You have great access to Shopping, Museums, Planetarium, Plays and Concerts. Tampa Airport is only 35 min drive and Disney World is only 75 min drive. Great beaches are only minutes away and the boating , kayaking and fishing is superb. There is a great park called Emerson Point Park, only a mile away that is perfect for a bike ride, hike or a place to take the dog for an outing.
