Exceeded our expectations

  • 5 of 5

The suite was spacious, clean, tastefully furnished as pictured, and well equipped, even to the detail of dishwasher and washing detergent. Thank goodness for the wifi too. We enjoyed the Castro neighbourhood for its restaurants and vibe. A few blocks away was a well stocked supermarket. Despite the scattering of homeless people who are everywhere in the city, we felt absolutely safe walking around during the daytime and evenings. Access to public transportation was amazing, especially the Muni Castro station that was the starting point for so many destinations. We highly recommend this rental.

Beautiful, pristine apartment

  • 5 of 5

I very much enjoyed my stay in this beautiful, pristine apartment. I was attending a very large conference in the Union Square area and it was easy to get there and back using public transportation. I felt so fortunate to have this quiet apartment to myself so I could escape the conference chaos at night and in the morning. The kitchen and bathroom are new. The bed is soooo comfortable. Everything about the apartment was as good or even better than described on the website. The owner makes it very easy to access the apartment. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful apartment in wonderful neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

I'm just back from a nine day stay at the tiny jewel box and it was fantastic. The pictures don't include a couch and chair so you can sit by the bay window. The apartment is immaculate, well furnished and the host was easy to communicate with. The location is perfect - a quiet street but just off bustling 18th. Probably over 50 restaurants and bars within a few blocks - and not far from Dolores Park and Valencia. I slept with the windows open and loved sitting by the bay window. The building felt safe - only 4 units. I will definitely be back again.

Great apartment in a beautiful city.

  • 4 of 5

Jack was very efficient with communications and instructions for our stay. The apartment lived up to the photos and was extremely clean. The renovation and decor is of a high standard also. It is easy to get around the city with nearby trolley cars and buses.

The nightlife and restaurants in nearby Castro street were great. The only negative was a stuffy acrid odor from the apartment landing. We left the windows open as Jack mentioned would be okay, and the smell abated somewhat. It did not impact our stay hugely, and mentioning only for those with sensitive sense of smell.

Overall thanks Jack for sharing your apartment.
