Carroll Gardens House is nestled in the heart of Carroll Gardens, one of Brooklyn’s most charming brownstone neighborhoods.

The apartment is one full floor of a brownstone. The apartment is approximately 1000 square feet, with full kitchen, private bath, living/dining area, two bedrooms (each with a queen-size bed), small den and private outdoor deck. It's the ideal home base whether your visit is for business or pleasure.

Enjoy the many amenities this wonderful setting has to offer. There are over 100 restaurants and cafes within walking distance, dozens of family-owned shops and local boutiques specializing in everything from children clothing to housewares, and the beautiful Carroll Park directly across the street with 2 playgrounds, a softball field, a bocce court, 5 basketball courts, and a sprinkler in the summer. Our location just half block from the subway couldn't be more convenient as a home base from which to explore New York's most popular borough.

Calendar - We keep the calendar up to date but advise travelers to always email for availability in the event we have a cancellation. House Rules- Comfort & Quiet - Carroll Gardens House is a private residence. We ask that our guests respect the comfort and quietness of the owners and residents. CGH is NOT a party house. It is a 130 year old brownstone on a quiet tree-lined block. Please keep voices and footsteps low when entering late at night. Smoking Policy – there is absolutely NO smoking in the apartment or outside on the deck. Pets - We do not allow pets. Cancellation Policy – Cancellation within 60 days for a full refund or 30 days for 50% refund. If we book the dates you have canceled we will refund you 100%. Park directly across the street with softball field, bocce court, 2 playgrounds, 5 basketball courts.

We have roots in the midwest and Long Island, NY. We have lived in Manhattan and San Francisco and traveled quite a bit before we had kids. We feel lucky to have found this amazing community in Brooklyn and are thrilled to call it home.

Family oriented....felt like our home away from home.

The location was excellent. Nice quiet neighborhood...subway, store, & restaurants were within walking distance. Perfect for a family vacation...all the convenients of home.

Great Family Getaway

The apartment is lovely, spacious and clean, with all the necessities and a sunny little deck out back. The building is conveniently located near the subway, across the street from a playground, and between cross-streets filled with restaurants, grocers, and shops. We'll definitely try to rent this space again for our next family trip to the city.

Loved our Stay!

Jamie was very professional and responsive when I had prior questions about the trip from the airport. Jamie lives on-site and was present when we were later than expected due to airlines. Nicer/more towels and nicer blankets would be nice. Overall, the property is awesome, the street is quiet; a drug store and great bagel shop is right there. It's right on the F train! Our family of four loved it. Highly recommend.

Spacious except for bathroom and kitchen. Subway half a block away. Air conditioners do not circulate well into the second bedroom. Lovely place and landlady.

Brooklyn brownstone in Carroll Gardens

We stayed in President Street A for our daughter's wedding and were there almost 2 weeks in July. I appreciated how well we could control the temperature in the apartment with a combination of air conditioners in the living room and bedroom and fans. The bedrooms are next to each other so that you have to walk through one to get to the kitchen and bathroom but you can shut the door to the back one for privacy. We stayed in the middle bedroom, where the bed was very comfortable and there was a big closet and dresser. They have really good pillows, which I appreciate. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would suggest an update on towels and there is no soap provided so bring your own. Jamie and Joe are friendly and accommodating. The location is great--across from the park and a block from the F train which goes right into Manhattan. Our friends stayed above us in President Street B and that is very nice as well. There is a nice deck outside the living room in #A, but you do have to climb out the window to get there. I would stay here again.

No question! Great place across from Carroll PArk and located where we wanted to be!

This was an ideal location and set of facilities that made our stay for our son's wedding a breeze! It was close to the wedding venue and a short walk to all activities! Our friends loved coming by in preparation for the multi-events we were doing. Calm and quiet, the place reflected well on Jamie and Joe as our hosts. Its distinctive entrance made it easy to find and the air conditioning made it comfortable with the changeable weather! We loved the deck outside our dining room window and wished we had more time to enjoy it but wedding events drew us away! Key though would be our son's assessment...best place (after 20 tries) to tie a bow tie! Weddings on Union Street should start here!

With a bit of embarrassment, we overshot our departure and Jamie understood our problem and made it work all around! What a understanding hostess! Our kind thoughts and thanks for helping our transition! ...next wedding in NYC...should and will start here!
