What a beautiful, peaceful place. Peace of Pine is exactly what this cabin is about. It has everything a cabin needs, not longing for anything. Fishing, swimming, or just relaxing you will find it here. The small pontoon boat was really great and all the wonderful treats that Lisa left for us added to the comfort of “Peace of Pine,”
Better than our expectations!
Amazingly clean and orderly. The cabin had everything we needed for a quiet relaxing stay thanks to Lisa.
I had the very best time and will be back for sure!!! Thank you!
Perfect little getaway!
We had a wonderful time at Peace of Pine! It was the perfect getaway for some peace and quiet. The cabin was very clean and just as described. The pontoon was great for several strolls around the lake. We caught a lot fish right off the dock, many 9-10” blue gills, as well as several other species. It was quiet, neighbors were nice. We lucked out with the weather but the cabin had an assortment of games and movies available if it was rainy. The owners were wonderful to work with and incredibly nice. All in all, it was just the little vacation we needed. Thank you!!
Overall good stay.
Good stay for our family. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen supplies were nice as we are not big restaurant goers. It did need some updating as far as water and faucets. The water smelled of extreme sulfur and iron. Not drinkable. I think that should be disclosed so customers can bring bottled water. The kitchen faucet was loose like it was going to fall off. The bathroom sink faucet hardly yielded any water. Down to a trickle. The electric boat, to my knowledge is not solar powered because we had to plug it in after every use. I think the battery is losing power. We could not stay out for more than a couple hours. We caught fish and had a good time. By the way, if anyone finds an iphone 7 in the lake just left of the dock, let us know!
I am very sorry you found some dissatisfaction here. We recently had a new well installed and it has caused an increase of iron and sediment. I often have to take the screen off the faucet to clean it. I didn't realize the kitchen faucet was loose but will definitely take care of it. I wish you had shared these concerns with me while you were here and I would have immediately fixed what I could and brought out a new battery for the boat. It has now been replaced. I do everything I can to make my guests happy and comfortable. Again, my apologies for falling short.
You won't be disappointed with your stay here, Lisa is a great host, and the property was more than expected. Even if you forget things? chances are Lisa has already thought ahead, and the place will have it. She goes above and beyond to assure you have a enjoyable, and relaxing stay here. Can't wait to go back !
Thank you so much for your kind words. I do my best to make my guests comfortable and happy. I appreciate knowing that I have done so. Thank you and see you again soon!!
