Guestbook comments from the owner

My Review: This cabin is a must enjoy get-away . It has the 3'C's- cozy, comfortable and clean. We sat on the dock and fished, enjoyed the lake and watched a sunset that evening that was splended. (And no mosquitoes!!!)It has more amenities than a hotel room and much more affordable. We would recommend this cabin for a quiet get-away with some rest and relaxation.

I would recommend this cabin for Adventure Seekers, Age 55+,Girls Get-away,Romantic Get-away

Amazing place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful place to stay! Very clean! The cabin has everything that you would need. Lisa was very attentive to all of our needs. We had a very small problem with the air conditioning seeming to not work when we were there. Lisa had a new air conditioner in place within a couple of hours. Just about everything you could think of for a vacation was there. Even outside grilling supplies, firewood for the fire pit, lighter fluid and even Smore sticks! Lisa has thought of everything! Plenty of books to read, games to play both inside and out, the solar powered pontoon boat was awesome for fishing, a canoe to enjoy an early morning paddle and even a paddleboat!

We caught lots of fish! Northerns, smallmouth bass, crappie, catfish, perch and sunfish. Many of the biggest fish were caught right off of the dock in front of the cabin! I highly recommend this property anyone who wants a clean and fun place to stay for a vacation or even a small getaway! We will definitely be back!

Perfect cabin on a perfect private lake!

  • 5 of 5

Stayed for 4 nights at Peace of Pine and we had a perfect relaxing time. The cabin itself is really cute with plenty of space for 4 adults. Clean and well facilitated with a great welcome basket of goodies, a lovely touch! Lisa was very helpful and very quick to respond to any questions I had prior to our stay.We made great use of the excellent pontoon and canoe which were fun. We also made great use of the fire pit where we enjoyed our s'mores!

Would highly recommend a stay here, perfect place to unwind and fish, but don't forget your bug spray for outside in the evening during the summer! Although the fire did help.

Hoping we can visit again in the future! Thank you Lisa.

Wonderful, quaint little cabin

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I just got married on Saturday. On Sunday, we headed to Mora for our mini-moon. To say that this cabin was perfect for us is an understatement. We used everything it had to offer. We use the pontoon boat multiple times each day. I floated on the lake. We went out in the canoe. We had a fire. My husband fished both on this lake and on Fish Lake. We spent a few evenings at the Fish Lake Resort (Tuesday's is taco night). Lisa was very responsive and we cannot recommend this cabin enough!

P.S. We were here during the week and had maybe one or two other boats out at a time (at the absolute most) so it was very serene and peaceful.

Counting the days until I can come back!

  • 5 of 5

I had an amazing experience at Peace of Pine. It was exactly as represented via the pictures and other reviews. I stayed for three nights, wanting to relax and spend quiet time and that's exactly what I did. The pontoon was so much fun! Plus there was a canoe and paddle boat -but why exert yourself when you can use the pontoon? :) The cabin also had floaties and boogey boards, puzzles and guidebooks, a CD player and DVDs, although I do have to say - the TV is kinda tiny (it was cute). As other reviews say, the cabin is extremely clean and very well stocked with the basics, and then some. I am already planning my next trip out. Thanks for everything, Lisa!

Owner's Response: Thank you for sharing all the things you enjoyed here at the cabin! We try to offer some items to use outside, in the water and inside the cabin for those bad weather days. The TV is small but we figured people do not go on vacation to watch TV. Sometimes it is nice to read, bird watch or take a nap. We hope our guests find things to do they can not always do at home. Thanks again!

We rented Peace of Pine for a mother/daughters mini vacation. It was the perfect thing for the four of us. We enjoyed the comfortable cabin, lake and mini pontoon boat. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.
