Perfect Sunshine combines the best in European design with a breathtaking Caribbean location. It allows you to indulge yourself in luxury, from the enormous four poster bed in the master bedroom to the 50 foot infinity pool; from the sculptures in the rooms to the hi-tech appliances; from the 600 thread sheets on the beds to the 20ft height of the airy reception areas.
Beyond all that are the views. Breathtaking is an over-used phrase. But even on this island of picture postcard vistas, the double views - azure seas one on side and a Norwegian-type fjord to the other - really do combine to take your breath away. We challenge you not to be amazed!
Perfect Sunshine stands on top of a hill, in just under an acre of grounds. It has air conditioning, but the sea breeze, and cleverly designed louvered windows mean that it is almost never necessary. The villa has 5 bedrooms sleeping 11 people, huge living space and a very large pool. It enjoys all modern amenities such as high speed wifi, allowing you to choose whether to unwind away from the world or to remain very much in touch.
All 5 gorgeous bedrooms have sea views and their own balconies. The Master Suite is the crowning glory, with its super-kingsize four-poster bed, and a luxurious en suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath, walk-in shower and triple aspect views. The second bedroom also has a huge super-king sleigh bed with east-facing sea views and a bathroom with shower and hand-painted tiles. On the other floor are 3 bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed with its own large en suite bathroom. Then there are two further bedrooms - a twin with two single beds and a double bedroom. These two rooms share a bathroom with shower. Both bathrooms on this floor have tiles painted by an artist who loves the bright colours of the Caribbean.
?The Public Rooms??The villa has a designer kitchen, which combines the best in European contemporary living with a well thought out practical aspect. Its lime green and black high-gloss units from Italy create a thoroughly modern feel, whilst the Jenn-Air oven, hob and American fridge provide the latest high tech appliances. The kitchen is well equipped and even the plates and glasses match the theme – glass plates in black and green add an air of sophistication to even the simplest meals.
The reception room is both an indoor and an outdoor area. The huge sliding doors (almost 20 feet wide each) can be fully opened to create an enormous space, which encompasses the verandas to the east and west. The space is interior designed to the highest specification. There are Designers Guild sofas with matching floor furnishings, niches carved from the walls with sculptures created by European artists and glass vases which complement the colour scheme. A flat screen 42” TV allows guests to watch or films in the quiet evenings.
East Veranda - This large semi-circular centre-piece of the villa is where many choose to spend their time. It stretches from the kitchen to the master bedroom suite (over 100 feet in length). The mesmeric views towards Green Island and the constantly shifting light on the water offer a spectacular backdrop. For meals, there is a large table, directly in front of the kitchen. To relax, there are deckchairs as well as a decadent hammock. For sun worshippers, half the space is uncovered, whilst for those more keen on sitting out of the sun, there is plenty of shade. A breeze blows in from the Ocean, allowing guests to stay cool at even the hottest time of day. If the wind becomes too strong, as it does on occasions, the West Veranda is completely still, whatever the weather.
West Veranda - This outside space is an oasis of tranquility. With remarkable views onto the fjord, it is the ideal place to sit with a cocktail and watch the sun go down. A pair of solid oak tables invite you to eat, play cards and generally to make the most of this remarkable outside space. Again, the area is split between shade and direct sun.
The villa is part of the prestigious development at NonSuch Bay, which benefits from some great facilities. There is a top class restaurant serving all meals - from breakfast to dinner and there are several communal swimming pools. For those who love the water there are extensive watersports. Sailing is taught and different sailing boats can also be rented - elites and small dinghies. Wind surfing and kite-boarding are also particular favorites. The resort benefits from 24 hour security.
The villa is located 30 minutes from the airport. Antigua airport is well served by international flights, with many direct flights each week from the US and from Europe, especially the UK and Italy.
Near to the villa there are all sorts of things to do - there’s the historic Nelson’s dockyard, busy St John’s with its many shops and of course Antigua has 365 beaches to visit - one for each day of the year.

We bought the land in Antigua in 2005 and after much to-ing and fro-ing built the villa of their dreams. It was n adventure which, as with all adventures was both exciting and stressful, but well woth it in the end! We love coming out to the villa as often as we can with our 3 children, but when we cannot make it out here we love others to be able to enjoy the spectacular views and sheer luxury of the villa!

We fell in love with the location, the views and the climate. There is nothig more exciting than getting off the plane in mid-winter to find yourself in full sunshine and warmth.
We have travelled extensively, but have rarely found such a special place as the bay we are in. We thought such a special bay deserves a pretty special villa!
We love the huge pool- 50 ft for a private pool is great, allowing proper swimming (as well as good games in the pool!). WE also enjoy hanging out in the very spacious reception areas. As for the bedrooms, they are gorgeous - we never sleep as well as when we're in Antigua! A particular favourite of ours is the constant breeze. It means you never overheat and that you never need to put on the air-conditioning. We also being able to stay in touch through the wifi and watching movies on the vast screen at the end of a busy day!
Perfect Sunshine is a beautiful villa, very tastefully furnished and well equipped in the lovely resort of Nonsuch Bay on the Atlantic side of Antigua. The most outstanding feature is its unique location which offers breathtaking views on both sides of the house, to the bay on the West and the inland fjord and mountains on the East. The sunsets over the fjord were truly stunning. All four bedrooms are a good size although we only used the Master Suite (as there were only 2 of us) which was excellent with a very comfortable 4-poster bed and a beautiful bathroom. The large pool, set on a terrace below the house, is a great size and has lovely views over the bay. The resort is gated and very safe with a good restaurant/bar and serviced beach and facilities for water sports. We had a wonderful week at Perfect Sunshine and would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended!
We stayed at Perfect Sunshine for a week in February and could not recommend it more highly. The villa itself is perfect holiday accommodation, with good sized bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, a big kitchen, and a vast living room which opens onto two even bigger terraces, one catching the morning sun and the other perfect for the evenings. The views both over the bay and inland are spectacular. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the attractions of Nonsuch Bay - a good restaurant, a fine beach, sailing and kitesurfing lessons - but when we did venture out we found Antigua to be a warm and welcoming combination of friendly locals and great beaches. We had a particularly enjoyable dinner at Sheer Rocks, on the eastern side of the island. Another highlight was our visit to Stingray City, where the five-year old in our party was undoubtedly the bravest stingray handler among us! All in all a fantastic place for families or groups of friends. We will definitely be returning soon.
A group of friends and I spent an amazing week at Perfect Sunshine over New Year's. The villa is spacious with a great mix of communal space and privacy, not to mention awesome views. It was so well equipped including the pool, that it took us a day lounging around before we packed up to go to the beach! The added benefit of the Villa being at the Non Such Bay resort meant we could pop down to the restaurant and bar and take a day boat trip to Green Island. The people of Antigua were the nicest I have met, stopping their cars on more than once to ask if we needed help. Gillian, the Villa owner, was very responsive as we were planning and Pascale, the property manager, was filled with helpful information once on the island. One tip is that is can get a bit windy, which means no bugs. The Villa is setup so that you can still enjoy the views without being exposed to the wind. Our only regret was having to leave! We would go back in a heartbeat and have been spoiled by our trip at Perfect Sunshine and the beaches of Antigua.
A glamorous and spacious villa for families with a excellent sailing and fabulous views. We stayed with 2 other families (children aged 4-14) and always felt we had lots of space. The villa is on a ridge with views over beautiful bays on both sides. The development has a waterside restaurant with excellent lunches and a sailing school/club with dinghies & sailboards on tap, great onshore winds and excellent teaching for the children, particularly the lovely & encouraging Natasha. There is a beach too, which competes with the magnificent pool for your attention. In our case, the pool usually won - it is just as special as it looks in the pics! . BA chose not to send all our luggage with us, but the manager of the villa could not have been more helpful - lent us clothes etc till the bags showed up, and she was always on hand to make sure were enjoying ourselves. The villa is situated on the eastern side of the island, a short drive from Half Moon bay, and half an hour from English Harbour and Shirley Heights (famous for sundowners). A great place for a relaxing holiday for families!
My three daughters (12,11 and 9), my wife and myself spent ten days in the villa and had an absolutely brilliant time. The villa had everything one could wish for plus a lot more besides! It is the best positioned villa on the bay, and the photo's cannot do it justice. The views out to sea on one side of the villa and out across the interior of Antigua on the other, make sitting on the terrace with a cold glass of wine watching the sunset, magical. The beach was only a five minute walk and we spent mornings at the sailing school trying to learn to sail. Water activities are great fun (the water is warm), even for beginners and the staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful. We often wandered down to the restaurant by the beach for lunch or dinner, where the food is excellent quality, though the service was of Caribbean speed! The relaxed atmosphere suited our stress-free holiday. There were a number of restaurants/burger bars within a ten minute drive of the villa for when we wanted to get out and try somewhere different. We also went the short drive to English Harbour when we wanted a busier more buzzy experience and had some excellent food watching the super yachts come and go! We are definitely going back!
Amazing views and great house. The resort was still quite early on in its inception when we visited but the restaurant was very good, better than others we had been recommended that were near by. The House had some spectacular views and the interior was very nice. When it was windy the noise was quite intrusive but that's just what you get for being positioned on top of a cliff, overlooking the sea! The location isn't hugely central but equally if you have a car its not a big problem - that side of the island was just not as built up as the other side (which was a good thing as well!), although this was a few years back and things could have changed. The pool is really incredible - a real luxury. The correspondence with owners was prompt and helpful - would definitely recommend, especially if you are a group of child free friends who love doing water sports, having bbqs, eating well and chilling out. Watch out for the glass doors after a few rum and cokes though.....
