Wish it wasn't so run down.

  • 2 of 5

The river right outside the cabin is beautiful. We even had an elk and bear outside the cabin at different points. The problem was that it was pretty run down. As you enter the sliding door off of the deck, there is duct tape surrounding the glass and the rubber lining from the runner hanging from the door. You walk into the living room and the tables are missing alot of varnish and scratched up. There were spider webs over the tub that looked like they had been there a long time. The minute we walked into the cabin, my 11 year old used the bathroom and it was immediately clogged. They didn't get anyone sent out until the next day. It was just really obvious that the company has not been putting much money back into the cabin. Also, I failed to ask if there was air conditioning. There is none. I have stayed at three other places in Estes, that aren't affiliated with VRBO, and I prefer all of them over this one.

A Vacation to Remember!!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our five night stay at Running River Condo. It was very relaxing and being right on the river made it very peaceful. The condo met all our needs perfectly. This property is in a great location, near town and near the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. We all enjoyed our stay so much no one wanted to leave. The elk in the yard at our condo made a wonderful ending to an ideal vacation. I would definitely stay at Running River Condo again and I will be recommending it to our friends. Looking forward to going back some day.

Great location, close to Estes Park, right along the whitewater. Cabin was adequate.

  • 4 of 5

Nice experience in a great location right next to a whitewater creek. Very close to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. However, the cabin needs some updates. The beds are old and uncomfortable. Sheets and pillows should be replaced. Carpet was dirty. Just needs some minor updates but otherwise it is wonderful.

Excellent!!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed three nights at Running River Condo and could not have been more impressed. Clean and homey condo with a GREAT view of the river right off the deck. This is an excellent place to get away from stress and relax surrounded by nature! We even saw elk and deer pass by us on the road behind the condo. Who knew?!?! Thanks for a great weekend! Hope to return again some day soon!
