The room is tastefully furnished with a handsome sectional sofa, a leather recliner and a Persian rug that covers the rich oak floors. An expansive deck with Adirondack and rocking chairs is accessed from the living room. A charming guest powder room is conveniently located off of the living room.

A laundry/mudroom with full-size washer and dryer is also on the main level of the home.

A new addition on the main level opens from the dining room. This bright and cozy TV room has vaulted ceilings, gorgeous mountain views, a big screen TV and blue-ray disk player.

Wake to mountain views from the King bed in the Master bedroom on the main level. The floor-to-ceiling windows and oak and leather furniture in this room enhance the mountain ambiance. The custom, en suite Master bath has a mirrored vanity area, walk in closet, double sinks, and a large tub with shower. The deck is also accessible from the Master.

A Second Master Bedroom, located on the lower walkout level, is a recent addition. It has elegant furnishings, a Queen-sized bed, and breathtaking mountain views. The lovely, new en suite bath has double sinks, plenty of counter and drawer space and a custom tiled shower.

An adjacent sitting room/TV room has a Queen sofa bed, large screen HD TV and double wide pocket doors that close this room off from the rest of the lower level, providing privacy for a Fourth Bedroom.

The Third Bedroom is also located on this lower level. It has two Twin beds, cherry furniture, a love seat and a large window with views of Ponderosa Pine, Douglas Firs and Cedars. This bedroom has an en suite bath with walk-in shower.

Guestbook comments from the manager

I wish to thank Estes Park Central Vacation Rental for providing three homes for our family vacation. Lynn Kieffer helped me in finding three rental homes. Our main meeting place where the majority of us stayed was the Secluded Rocky Mountain Home that worked out wonderfully for us and a meeting location in the evenings. The MacGregor Ranch Retreat, where a daughter, her husband and four young boys stayed, was a perfect fit. And the Rustic Rocky Mountain Retreat provided a good location for our son’s family. Thank you Lynn, and Estes Park Central, for making our week vacation as good as it could possibly be.

Family reunion

  • 4 of 5

We loved this home and the spectacular views and plenty of deck space for our large family. This house has great proximity to town and to RMNP. I loved the hike up to Gem lake and the trailhead is just a short drive down the road. The only inconvenience was that you have to walk through the 4th bedroom downstairs to get to the other bedroom. And you have to walk in to the 4th bedroom to use the bathroom if you are in the other lower floor bedroom. Can be a privacy issue for larger families.

Great three night stay!

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in many Homeaway/VRBO/Airbnb homes in the past few years and this one tops the list as one of our favorites. We made our payment directly with Estes Park Central because they do not accept payments through homeaway but it was an easy and quick process over the phone. I received confirmation via email with check in instructions right away. Barbara was our assigned rep for this unit and she was wonderful and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. She was also always available to answer any questions I had via email prior to our arrival. Upon arrival the home was just as expected from the pictures. The house was clean and very spacious. It was just two of us but there is plenty of room for more! The views are SPECTACULAR from all corners of the house. The two decks have outstanding mountain views and were perfect for our morning yoga sessions. The neighborhood is very private and quiet. We felt safe at all times. We loved watching the deer roam around the front yard and walk behind the house right under the deck! The location of the house is very close to everything! There is a great hike (Gem Lake Hike) about 5 minute drive from the house and RMNP is about 20 to 25 minute drive away. The gazebo right outside the front door was also very neat, we spent our mornings here sipping coffee taking in the views! Great wifi connection for those who need it. Overall it was an amazing stay and we were sad to leave but we know we will be back here for sure as long as the owners continue to rent out this place! I also want to extend a huge thanks to Barbara and Scott from Estes Park Central for guiding us throughout an unexpected snow storm that hit in the middle of May on the day of our arrival. They made sure we stayed safe outside of Estes and had the home prepared and driveway plowed the very next day for our arrival. Thanks again!

Comfortable house for a family reunion with great views

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here with our grown children and their significant others--8 people in all--and found it comfortable and spacious. Best parts: the large living space that allowed us to find our own corners yet still be together; the big, well-appointed kitchen and dining table; and the views. Watching sunrise light up Longs Peak each morning was a treat. Only not-great part: the fourth "bedroom" wasn't private enough or quiet enough for that couple.

The description was accurate, the photos representative, and the house very clean and well-maintained. Everything worked well. Also, Ginny at the Estes Park Central office was very responsive and helpful with our questions in advance. And it was just minutes into town, while feeling remote and peaceful. The stars at night were brilliant.

Beautiful property, fabulous view of mountains, wonderful accommodations!

  • 5 of 5

Family had a wonderful time altogether for son's destination wedding in Estes Park. House was perfect for all of us to hang out together. Two decks gave us morning sun and afternoon shade. Rustic pergola in back was special place for morning coffee and quiet conversation. House was clean, beds comfortable, and more than well equipped. Loved our time there.

This was the fourth stay for our family at Secluded, and it's always like "coming home". We love the house as much as we love Estes, and look forward to returning!
