Why Janice Kavanagh chose Belmont
Charlottesville is a wonderful city which I call home and the Bungalow is ideally located, and easy walk to the city's downtown, shops, restaurants and farmer's market. I love the Belmont neighborhood with many beautiful homes and walk-able to just about everywhere in the city, UVA is approximately 2 miles away.
What makes this Bungalow unique
On a quiet residential street, but only minutes by foot to just about everything in the city: restaurants, theatre, shops, trails, historic monuments, UVA and sporting arenas are close by. Monticello Trail that leads you to Monticello is just a five minute drive. Carter's Mountain which is adjacent to Monticello is clearly visible from the front porch of the Bungalow which offers lovely sunrises. You get the best of both worlds, close to the city so you don't even need a car, but you have the benefit of staying on quiet residential street without all the traffic and noise. Large front porch elevated off the street is ideal for relaxing, watching the sunrise and enjoying your morning coffee!

Charming, comfortable and easy location
I’ve stayed at many home rentals, and will definitely come back to this one. Location is quiet (loved sitting on front porch, in the garden), very convenient, hostess is easily accessible and gracious. Note that there’s no kitchen, but a small fridge, microwave and coffee. Perfect. Good restaurants nearby (walkable) for breakfast through dinner. Plenty of soft towels and beds are comfortable. Thank you!
Girls weekend getaway

Clean, cozy, quaint, beautiful location
The Boxwood Bungalow was impeccably clean and in a lovely location. It was cute, quaint, cozy and had everything we needed for our girls weekend. Would absolutely come back next time I visit Charlottesville.
The bungalow was great, the sheets, towels, beds, etc were perfect. The place is super clean as well. The local restaurant are not to be missed. I was a little surprised there wasn't a kitchen as I don't remember it from the listing. It certainly wasn't a big deal for our time there. fresh fruit, coffee and water was provided and a nice touch. Highly recommend this place!
