Overview

About the property

Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

If our dates are available – you could (finally) be done with your search!!

That is – if you are looking for…

A very well appointed, nicely decorated, affordable 2BR/2BA unit in the heart of Breckenridge that has incredible views of the ski mountain, heated underground parking, an indoor pool, sauna and hot-tub, modern electronics and free internet.

----------------------------------------------------

In the dead of winter you will love coming into the heated garage where you will have a (free) assigned parking space. There, you will be greeted by luggage carts that will quickly get you into this unit which is (in Breckenridge terms) a spacious 1076 square ft. 2BR/2BA unit that sleeps 6. It has an open floor plan with a dining area table that seats 6 plus a breakfast bar that seats 4.

The 2 queen mattresses are Simmons Beautyrest pillow top. Each bed has a Protect-a-Bed mattress cover, four pillows, and a duvet with cover. The mattress that is on the NEW sleeper sofa, in the living room, is an upgraded HealthCareMattress 5' memory foam.

The unit has free high speed internet. The living room has a 46' 120Hz LCD television. There is a surround sound system, too! The guest rooms have matching 32' LCD television that hang neatly from the wall.

A two burner propane grill is on the patio. The updated, remodeled kitchen (2009) is equipped with nice amenities like a drip coffee maker, grinder, coffee press, non-stick griddle, juicer, blender, hand mixer, vacu-vin wine stoppers, crock pot, non-stick cookware, and toaster.

The living room is tastefully decorated and very comfortable-with a new (2017) sleeper sofa. You will love taking in the view – and warming by the gas fireplace.

Located three blocks to the nearest convenience store on Main street, two blocks to Fatty's Pizza and one block to Amazing Grace Restaurant and Bank of the West with ATM. There is even a theater called the Speakeasy located in the old community college building two blocks away. The unit is across the street from the historic Father Dyer Methodist Church.

We are 1/2 mile from Peak 9.

There is a coin operated washer/dryer room in the parking garage at the base of the elevator.

If you would like to hear more about the unit, please inquire via the contact form. Thank you for looking at my unit. Previous renters enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub plus the larger pool and water slide over at the Breckenridge Recreation Center.

This unit is managed by a property manager who lives in the area. She will be your 'go-to' person for recommendations or any issues with the unit.

For skiers/riders, there is a nice rack in the hallway that will hold your equipment.

About Lisa Felker

Lisa Felker owns Felker Services Property Management and Real Estate. She has been assisting homeowners with their investment properties for 14 years. Lisa is 4th generation to Colorado and loves living in the Mountains

Lisa Felker purchased this condo in 2001

Why Lisa Felker chose Breckenridge Area

We chose to buy in Breckenridge because this is more than just a ski resort. The summer activities are spectacular. The Breckenridge Rec Center is close by and the pool is fantastic for lap swimming. There are several spin classes and the locker room area was remodeled in the Fall of 2010. With all of the skiing, mountain biking, cycling paths, and the unique downtown area, Breckenridge is a great community. It's also close enough to Denver. The view of the mountains is spectacular.

What makes this condo unique

Our son moved to Breckenridge in 1996, and we bought this condo 5 years later. He wanted to live close enough to main street to walk to the restaurants and shops. During peak season, parking is at a premium so being able to walk everywhere is a benefit. There is a bus stop right around the corner that will get you to the base of Peak 8 and also to the Gondola. However, it is about a 7-10 minute walk to the Gondola from here.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Unfortunately my friends and I only had two nights to stay in this great condo. Prior to our visit, I spent a lot of time looking for a property that a) would be suitable for two couples (i.e. no bunk beds) and b) would accommodate our two night stay. Wade was just lovely to work with, very communicative, and very accommodating. The condo is just as pictured and certainly convenient to the main street in Breckenridge where we pottered happily in the shops when we were able to drag ourselves away from the Olympics on the generous TV in the unit. One night we cooked in the well equipped kitchen, the other night we had great pizza at the corner of Main and Wellington? I can't remember the name of it but it was on Wade's list of recommendations. The beds were super comfy. The complex was quiet and well maintained and we were all very happy with our stay here.

Gorgeous Condo in a great Location.

  • 4 of 5

Sooo much fun this past weekend! The condo was clean and put together nicely. The kitchen had everything needed :). The only complaint I would have is the pillows. They only had 2 per bed and they were awful :(. Next time I will remember to bring my own.

Well appointed condominium

  • 5 of 5

This condominium had everything we needed, including top of the line utensils and kitchenware. I enjoyed our stay. The size of the condo was perfect for 4 people with plenty of storage, drawers and closet space.

Beautiful view and great access!

  • 4 of 5

This is a fantastic condo with great access to everything you need in breckenridge. The condo is very well stocked, clean and updated. It was very comfortable for my family of four. The view of the mountain is fantastic! We were able to drive to the gondola lot on the days we skied in 2 minutes. You can walk to the gondola but we felt it was a little too far with all our gear. The only negative I have is that there can be quite a bit of noise from the condo upstairs, but it wasn't so bad that we couldn't sleep. I would rent this place again and definitely recommend it.

Owner's Response: Thank you JJ for your feedback. We love the view too...and the very central location to town and gondola. Sounds like maybe you had some energetic spring break guests upstairs! I'm glad it did not interfere with your sleep...I really appreciate your review and would love to hear from you in the future!

Great downtown location, beautiful view, comfortable accomodations

  • 5 of 5

Very comfortable 2 bedroom set up, with a well equipped kitchen. Comfortable furniture, good linens, (1) in door parking spot, quiet building, easy load in and out (with provided luggage cart). Very manageable walk to Main St. and gondola. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Find a Different Rental

  • 1 of 5

I would not recommend staying at this condo. My family of 4 adults and 2 kids spent six nights at this condo.

We encountered numerous issues. The biggest issue was the noise from the pipes that wouldn't let you sleep most of the night, every night. After reading a review that mentioned this issue, I asked if the problem had been fixed prior to booking. Lisa assured me the problem was fixed, but it definitely has not been fixed and it is still a problem.

Other Issues

- BBQ had not been cleaned.

- BBQ left burner is missing the bottom panel and would take twice as long to cook meals.

- There were no BBQ utensils so we had to purchase those.

- There are no drawers in the guest room to place clothes.

- Upon arrival there were 2 light bulbs that were out. Lisa instructed that there were replacements in the pantry and for us to replace the light bulbs. The next day another 3 light bulbs went out, at that point we didn't even bother to inform Lisa.

- The sofa is new and sofa bed sags in the middle.

- BBQ had no propane. Lisa brought propane the next afternoon.

- There weren't any hangers in the guest room. Lisa brought new hangers the next afternoon.

- The weren't sufficient sheets to utilize the air mattress and the pull out sofa. Lisa brought used linens the next afternoons.

- We plugged in a blow dryer and the lights went out. Lisa noted it is an old building and it happens when you plug in additional appliances.

After providing Lisa feedback. I was told it was winter and she was not under the impression that the BBQ would be used and I should have provided notice that I would be using the BBQ. I have never had to provide notice of the standard amenities I would be using in other rentals. I was also told that I needed to provide the sleeping arrangements so they would know to provide additional sheets. Again, I have never had to provide details of how my family is going to sleep.

Plus

- Nice view

- Convenient location

- Covered garage parking

Owner's Response: After reading a recent review this guest wrote on another property, I believe this is a guest that may not be happy with Vacation Rental By Owner Properties and should consider an all inclusive resort. This property is a comfortable, well stocked, clean, sufficient condo in Breckenridge. We had linens stocked for 6 people. Guest did inform me that light bulbs had burnt out after they checked in and we had light bulbs stocked in the property for replacement. Guest called asking if hangers were in the condo. I had them look in the closet and they found hangers. I then brought them 12 more hangers for their use. They needed propane for the BBQ and we did bring them a replacement the very next day. The guest had noted that the sleeper sofa "sagged" but I believe the guest may have used this from a past review as we have replaced the sofa with a brand new couch and new mattress. In regards to the noisy pipes, that as well has not been a concern of any guests this winter. It is my opinion that may have also been a piece of information used from our past reviews. It does get cold in Breckenridge and sometimes in older complexes the heating has to work overtime to make sure everyones heat is working causing a noise from the pipes. We pride ourselves on being responsive, reasonable, and working hard to make sure our guests have a great vacation.

Colorado Christmas at it's Best

  • 5 of 5

We had our family Christmas at Longbranch 214 and could not be happier with the accommodations. Both bedrooms had very comfortable beds. The kitchen was large and very well equipped. We used it quite a bit on this trip. It has a large dining room table and great views of the slopes from the patio. There was plenty of room for everyone and it was clean and comfortable You cannot beat the location. You can walk anywhere in own. We all loved it and recommend it for you stay in Breck!
