Come relax in our newly renovated and furnished 107-year-old house two short blocks from the Chesapeake Bay beach in charming Cape Charles, Virginia, a turn-of-the-(last)-century railroad town on Virginia's Eastern Shore. From the wraparound front porch with ceiling fans and rocking chairs, enter the sunny foyer, which leads into the dining/reading room with book-filled shelves. Step through to the light-filled kitchen, fully equipped for summertime chefs, with corian counters, stainless steel farm sink, french-door refrigerator, jenn-air stove top, lots of shelves and cabinets, and a pass-through window to the t.v. room. Attached is the mud room with washer and dryer. The t.v. room connects to the family room, with sofa-bed and chairs, and a full bath. Double french doors lead to the full back deck and fenced backyard, ready for barbecues.
Up the beautifully-crafted staircase are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a premium queen bed, and en suite bathroom with double sinks and glass shower. Bedroom 2 also has a premium queen bed. Bedroom 3 has a single over double bunk bed, and a twin trundle bed (room sleeps 5 children, or 2 adults). The hall shower is tiled in aqua accents, and has a vanity and glass shower. Windows abound in all rooms. Two-zone central HVAC, plumbing and electrical are all fully modernized.
