Super convenient and homey
Great, seamless stay. Everything was made incredibly easy by the hosts, who also were very accommodating to any scheduling changes. The home itself is old but quaint, a much preferred alternative to the host of modern condos/apt buildings going up in downtown Bozeman. Would gladly stay here again!

A Month of Family and Football in Bozeman!
We had the ABSOLUTE BEST month at Barbara's place!! We are a retired couple traveling the world staying at rentals for a month at a time, and 22 years of vacation rentals prior to this - I won't lie - I have had some "issues" with some rentals - but not at Barbara's Place! The location was PERFECT, the house was so completely adorable and most important it was impeccably clean and stocked with everything we could ever need and some - I mean everything! We greatly appreciate the small touches that mean so much like tissues in every room, I used them in every room, comfy blankets to snuggle under watching tv, a fully loaded butlers pantry with actual cookware that a normal person uses daily so we could cook (and clean usable cookware, not dollar store junk that you can't actually use), loads of supplies like garbage bags, paper towels, napkins for dining room, toilet paper, toiletries like lotion, soap and the list goes on - these things may seem simple but they are so appreciated when you are traveling - made for a great stay. The house is historic so you have to be prepared for that, it has the quirk of the bathroom between the 2 bedrooms, but for us that was part of the charm and we made it work, even with friends joining us for one football weekend. We were there for family and football (9 games in 4 weeks!) and this rental was perfect, we are so thankful for Whitney, she was fabulous! I highly recommend Barbara's place and we will most definitely be back!

Excellent month long stay
My wife and I are retired and we spent a very enjoyable month in the summer of 2023 at this historic home. The house worked perfectly for us--the beds were comfortable, we used the kitchen frequently, we stored some items in the basement, and the furniture in the living room was very comfy. The antique art work, hardwood, and lamp fixtures were beautiful. The location is perfect--two blocks from downtown. We walked there frequently for dinner or to shop around. There is a nice park a block away. The yard was great for us because of our pet. Whitney the manager was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We had one minor issue with a window covering the day we arrived and she resolved the issue the next day. We highly recommend this home.

MY GREAT-GREAT GRANDMOTHER, BARBARA, WAS THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF THIS HOME. IT HAS NEVER BEEN OWNED BY ANYONE OTHER THAN FAMILY THROUGHOUT THE DECADES. IT IS NOW OUR TURN TO CARE FOR THIS HOME AND WE ARE PLEASED TO SHARE IT WITH YOU. BLESSED TO LIVE IN THIS 'LAST BEST PLACE' BOZEMAN, MT MOST OF OUR LIVES, WE ARE AS LOCAL AS YOU CAN GET!

Why they chose this property

Barbara's Place is a cozy cottage, a place to relax and use as your hub for a Montana adventure. It's a stone's throw from great restaurants; a short walk to ice cream, the grocer, a barista, the baker, the deli. We hope you love it!

What makes this property unique

TAKE A STEP BACK INTO OLD BOZEMAN. THE PROPERTY IS NOSTALGIC, BRINGING BACK STORIES OF MY MOTHER & HER GRANDFATHER AND THE TIMES THEY SPENT TOGETHER SITTING ON THE FRONT PORCH, SOMETIMES SILENTLY WATCHING A SPIDER SPIN ITS WEB. FROM THE FRONT PORCH NEIGHBORS RECEIVED A FRIENDLY WAVE AND THE MAIL WAS ACCEPTED FROM THE HANDS OF THE POSTMAN.
