The Hirshey Cabin in historic Hope, Alaska is the ideal Alaskan getaway on the Kenai Peninsula with everything you could need for a retreat. You will get the entire 3 bedroom historic Alaskan cabin, situated on over two acres of wooded land. This cabin was recently renovated, and comes fully equipped with a private bath, a lovely kitchen, even a washer and dryer in the nearby Wash Hut. You will get the feeling of it being your home when you stay at the Hirshey Cabin.
The cabin comes stocked with delicious dry breakfast options, so whether you need to get an early start or you want to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, simply open your cupboards and you will find hot and cold cereals, homemade oatmeal, pancake mix and syrups, an assortment of coffees and teas.
Please note that the Hirshey Cabin is on 2.5 acres with several other guest cabins. The view of the shared Wash Hut can be seen from the Hirshey Cabin's kitchen window. Hirshey guests have their own private restroom, but the Wash Hut is available for other guests who are staying in "dry" cabins nearby.
Nestled 1/2 way between Anchorage and the Kenai on the Kenai Peninsula, Hope boasts white water rafting, salmon river fishing, gold panning, and unforgettable hiking. Visitors love the quaint town of Hope for its peaceful and serene community and the feeling of time travelling back to early Alaskan pioneer days. Hope offers several eateries, including a coffee stand, day cafes, even a truly Alaskan bar right on the ocean with live music every weekend night throughout the summer.
