Review:
Our recent stay at the property at Aspen Creek booked through VRBO left much to be desired. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the property fell short of even basic standards.
The issues began with the stove, where only one burner was operational, severely hindering our ability to prepare meals. Additionally, the dishwasher was not fully installed, posing a significant safety risk as the door fell forward when opened.
The state of the bedding was appalling, with bedspreads that appeared to be over 20 years old and heavily worn, likely stained and unsanitary. Privacy was compromised as the bathroom doors failed to shut fully, leaving us unable to lock them securely.
Key management was inefficient, as we were initially provided with only one key, and it took three days to receive a second one. Despite our efforts to address the outdated TVs, including one that was a tube TV with a malfunctioning remote control, no resolution was provided.
Even more concerning was the pull-out sofa, where a spring protruded, causing discomfort and posing a safety hazard.
Despite numerous attempts to address these issues with management, including promises to resolve them, our concerns were met with inadequate responses.
It appears, in my opinion, that VRBO tends to side with property owners, as even with significant issues such as a non-functioning stove, we received no compensation or acknowledgment.
I'd avoid VRBO, this management company and unit.
