We are an elderly couple who have lived in the area for many years. We are retired from the Seafood Industry. We are hoping to find great renters for our bayfront apartment studio.
Owner purchased this Apartment in 2010
Why Owner chose Franklin County
We have lived here our entire lives and chose to rent out our apartment studio once we retired.
What makes this Apartment unique
We enjoy the beautiful mornings overlooking the bay while sitting on the bayfront deck drinking coffee. We also enjoy fishing off of the bayfront dock and we enjoy shopping in downtown Apalachicola. We love our Bayfront Studio.

Location, Location, Location!
Had a wonderful stay at Sunrise, Sunset Bay. Took only one morning and evening to see why cottage was so aptly named. Caught fish and a ray right off the rear dock and launched my kayak in a nearby bait shop. Ronnie was a perfect host, providing lots of local knowledge while hooking me up with a great charter guide. Plan to return in the Fall.
Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Great location nice property
We had a great time. The property was very clean and well kept up. Ronnie and his wife went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The location was great. The decks gave us the ability to watch the wildlife in the area. I would recommend this to anyone.
sunrise sunset bay
Very quint, Ideal location for me personally, Owner responded immediately when contacted, Overall very pleasant stay,
Excellent value on Apalachicola Bay
This was a small efficiency apartment on Apalachicola Bay, a short drive from the center of town. It was small, but had everything we needed for sleeping and preparing meals, and a deck facing the water. Ronnie the owner was very friendly, and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again.
Wonderful place to view wildlife. Out of the way of hustle and bustle.
This studio cottage was very quiet and the wildlife was amazing. We would go out early in the morning and see the abundance of wild life. Sea otters, manetes, pelicans, dolphins, and eagles. We had some refrigeration issues and owners was right on top of it and did a good job making sure we were comfortable. This is not the ritz but it was perfect for those looking for a fishing camp or a low key private getaway. The view is amazing and the little shops in downtown Apalachacola were so nice and made for a nice day of shopping. I would stay here again.
Great View and Location
Excellent place to stay and the best owners to deal with! Roomy and the place is kept spotless with every convenience! Great view of the Bay and the location is perfect due to its proximity to town and St. George Island. Fabulous dock and great fishing right on site! Highly recommend!!!
Sunrise Sunset Bay is located approximately 2 miles west of downtown Apalachicola, on Hwy 98. While visiting the area you can tour the local shops in the downtown area, try out one of the local Seafood Restaurants, take a tour of one of the local museums such as the John Gorrie museum or book a local Character.
